Pill ID A329
      #113818 - 11/07/03 12:51 PM

Hello newbie here. I am trying to research on a pill I saw that was white oblong and has A329 imprinted on it. I tried rxlist to no avail. I was told it was a type of Vicodin but that doesnt seem right as I order the generic Vicodin and it had the watson stamp on it Any info or sites to verify it would be appreciated

There is a great site called www.idthispill.com that operates very much like DB (message board) but only for pill ID's. Great resource. You post either a description or a snapshot if you can, and you'll get a response pretty fast.

Hope this helps.

It's generic Vicodin - 5 mg hydrocodone/500 mg APAP.

Your question has already been answered so I'm just posting for informational purposes. There is also another pill ID web site called Drugs.com. Once on the web site click on pill id then you have to agree to terms and conditions and then you can select a few different ways to look the meds. It has helped me several times. Once you find the name of the meds you can get customer info about it and even do a search for it on the internet.
Hope this helps

Very true. It's a good site but limited.

www.rxlist.com is another. Plug in an imprint and most times you will be lucky.

If the med is new, forget it. These databases are old.

Don't take me wrong. A lot of the imprints haven't changed over the years. Rxlist is great. But, in some instances, it's out of date or wrong.

Several pharmaceutical companies have websites. It's best to check with the source and then confirm with another site like rxlist or drugs.com.

Please be careful. Double and triple check. Start with the manufacturer and go from there.

Ask your pharmacist, use rxlist, or whatever. BUT ALWAYS DOUBLE CHECK.
