Hi Everyone,
This is my first post although I have been enjoying this forum for a few weeks now. Very informative, nice people.
My question is this: I have recently placed an order with "Gherkes" in Brazil. He answered my first email letting me know he had what I needed and the directions to follow (address to mail, etc.) Since he responded fairly quick and his reputation here on the board is good, I felt pretty comfortable placing an order. Well, payment is going to arrive there in a day or two (FedEx), but I now am not getting any response from any of my emails, (only the automated ones).
I just can't figure it out? Does anyone have an idea of what the problem might be? Not getting any response from my emails in several days now has made me a little nervous.

Hi ,I never ordered from him myself but only because of a lack of funds. He has a good rep but is very slow from what I hear. just hang tight & wait.He tells you in his info that if you are in a hurry do not order.So wait let me know what happens by PM. skip2
Well, I found out today what the problem was. The automated response that came back to me today came with a notice that said 80% of AOL users were not getting their replies from him. Whew! I was so relieved. I knew with his reputation there had to be a good explaination. I just opened a Hotmail account and all is well now.
