I don't think you will hear from them, I tried to order from them recently for a pain med and now they will not take an order for such medication for 90 days! I e-mailed them that was crazy it would be like one pill a day and they sent back an "autoresponse" but that they would be in touch with me as soon as possible and that was about 2 1/2 weeks ago. They were pretty good but are essentially out of commission for pain meds for awhile. Probably all this investigating and media attention to blame.

HI
I just ordered from them on Thursday- does this mean that I likely won't get my meds?
Thanks

Ordered 10/23/03
Delivery attempt 10/24/03
Picked up at hub 10/25/03
This was my first order with them and I am happy with the service although I had read differently. Sorry to all those who are getting the shaft. I wish we could come up with some reason why some get their orders on time and others just get bunked.
Regards,
Pickledoo

I ordered on the 24th of september, right before that 90-day bulls**t when into phase. does that mean I'm ousted from that since I ordered before it began, and I can order again anytime; or do I have to sit back and wait until the 22nd of december to reorder?

Here's what I wrote to them in regards to the 90 day policy. This is how they should of handled the new policy:
My last order from you was on Septmeber 8th before you adopted the 90 day refill policy on Hydrocodone. My question is since my last order was before the new law can I order a refill now or do I have to wait until 90 days from September ? It seems any order processed on the date of the change should have to wait 90 days.
Thanks,
I will let everyone know when I hear from them.

I too ordered from them before the rule went into effect and tried to reorder 32 days later. I was told I would have to wait the 90 days. Hope this helps.

To everyone who just recently ordered from TropicalRx, unless something drastically changes again, you will have to wait 90 days to reorder. I last ordered from them I think the end of August and tried them around the end of September and that's when I got hit with your script is not due to be filled again for another two months! Maybe it will turn around again.

Kenny, I wrote to them also basically the same thing as you and how I thought it was terrible customer service, blah, blah, blah and have not heard another word from them.

I ahve learned through out the very little time I have delt with any of these low requirement ops, anything that is anything negative or confritational on there end, will never get erplied too or even dicussed,,,,,,to be honest any kind of complaint or anything along those lines most likely gets put right in the trash can.....I know definatly anything having to do with the 90 day thing......they(tropical) are pretyy much(in my eyes) just say "if you dont like it, too bad cause that is how it is now"......and unfortunatly alot of us are going to have to take right in the...blank, blank,,,,,,,,just for the record I am just as upset as anybody about this but I think I am begining to relize that there is nothing to do but sit back and wait,,,,,,,literially......

You are correct all we can do is sit back and wait until 90 days. All they care about is the money and as far as the law stands they only do what they have to do.
But like I said in my post above they could have stated a date in which the new 90 day policy took affect instead of leaving some of us in the cold. I was getting ready to reorder when it went into affect. I do suffer from chronic pain and my DR did retire and I was just using them until I could get in to see my new DR.
Good Luck Everyone

I called them on Friday...asked about the people that used this site before they changed the rule...the girl said that they would have to abide just like everyone eles. Sure can't see how they can make any money doing it that way and that is why we see these places going down fast...Get records best way....Boo

I agree Boo.
But that can't make money if they are shut down, and I believe they use the 90 day "rule" to justify an emergency scrip. I don't know if that will fly or not.
Records and a consult....is the way to go.
I think webcam face to face consults would meet the criteria too...along with a portamedic.
Maybe pricey but worth it.
