Just wondering if they are asking for records to be faxed before they fill the initial order now. I am trying to get my records but would like to go ahead and order a consult. I was using tropical but want to change to a records OP. Thanks in advance.
They said they would ship my first order in advance on an "emergency basis" as he put it. Of course this was with the understanding that i would fax them in ASAP.
I can see my order with fed-ex right now about to leave PA.
It seems they are changing their procedures to be more strict, for sure - I referred a friend to them (NWW) - he has a chronic back problem, but very old medical records - (needs to see a local physician and get some updated paperwork!! - pain from injuries from an accident several years ago) - And they seem to be much more serious with records/ID than they used to be (judging from older posts about them) - It seems they used to be pretty lax- they told my buddy that I referred that they could not ship his prescription until they received records.
I think this is probably for the best - they are a good OP - and in my opinion, the more good OP's we have that are trying to 'follow the rules' and keep adequate patient files, then the better off we are. I hope that all OP's get 'up to code' in the near future, before we start losing more of them.
