that would all depend on if it was over seas..or a Dr had a written script in the us..that should not be taken...so it must of been over seas..well through the letter away and hope that is the end of it if it is not a huge amount of a narcotic. I had my overseas taken 3 times in customs and will no longer do that even if it is cheaper..and once thay have your address, they watch your packages.....u.s. only Dr's with writtne scripts..it should be ok...

I had one order seized, so I stopped using that address and IOP. I threw the letter out, chalked it up to a loss, and forgot about it.

I say get medical records and go to one of the great OP's that are on the US list. You may pay a bit more at US OP's, but you have that added security of getting your order and not dealing with customs.

Good Luck!!

I had one package seized... in 1996 or '97, from pharma-international.com. Since then i've used IOPs more than I could possibly remember/count, and the only times i've not received was when the pharm went under (libsol? speedrx? crowndrugs?). I wouldn't worry too much about being put on some list unless you're ordering something very illicit and/or in huge quantities.

TM
I ordered anti-anxiety meds, then got anxious about them being seized. So I ordered some more, which made me even more anxious. So I ordered some more, which really got me going ...

Usually nothing much except for one or two intimidating sounding letters, which, in reality, are a load of horse excrement, couched in convuluted legalese.
But, there have been isolated incidents of further actions being taken. There are many threads here on the topic.
Good luck -- You should be fine.

Slightly over two years ago when I was new to OPs, I got shall we say carried away and ordered from several people without doing my research. I did get some packages, but I also got some seizure letters- since I had read here not to get too excited about them, I threw them away and never heard another thing. The language they use is deliberately threatening to scare you off from ordering again. One thing I learned is DON'T reply to them, it's the same as incriminating yourself. Been hearing more lately about registered or certifed customs letters which makes me a little nervous. Not sure how they're different, but I don't want to get one. Since then, I have been as careful as possible to only order from sites with proven track records who deliver, although I take an occasional chance (i.e. Joseph). I never order over 100 pills at a time and usually not that many. Don't think the government has time to go after every person importing meds into this country so they send these threatening letters instead. Still, I'd rather not receive one anytime soon, and have not for over a year.

Just don't get carried away with your orders (i.e. huge #
s of pills), and never, ever reply to a customs letter or worse yet, show up to contest it. Yikes!

Take care out there, ghost

If you receive a seizure letter, don't respond to it, it's like admitting you ordered product. After three tries they send you a final saying "Due to your unresponsiveness, we are destorying the contents of your package", Make a copy of the seizure letter or scan it with a scanner and send via email to the IOP, depending on their business practices and policies, they might re-ship at no cost to you, but it would be wise to provide them with alternative mailing address. Anyway those letters are designed (Industrial psychology at it's best) to frighten you, so that you don't order product from IOPs (which might be a protective mechanism instill within import and export laws, but if you can find a good IOP with clean record, I would rather just order from the pharmacy and tell them what meds have worked for me in the past). but customs is "KEWL" about if you use an American online pharmacies with a legit script, but that will cost you, price of online medical consultation(varies between websites, at the very least $80.00 and upwards, price of med, and the cost of delivery), everyone's on the take. But at the end you get your meds legally. But I don't need an online consultation, just gimmie my meds, I know what I need, that's why IOPs are so popular, cuz if someone been taking for example a benzo for anxiety and he or she knows that it's working for them and they are taking it as directed, well then, you can pretty much monitor yourself. Just get your yearly medical check-up and provide the doc with blood and urine sample. Get a copy of your lab results get a EKG done and a copy of that. And that comprises the least an online doctor would need for his records. And you might just have to build a history of intermittent or continuous med use for an established diagnoses with one doctor. All the doctors are looking for is "Documentation" and "Justification" to cover themselves from any liability. Provide them with paperwork that fulfills both needs and you can then receive whatever med you need to help you with your medical condition. Good Luck and don't stressed about the seize letter, especially if it's only for a small amount. But like the some of the other posters said, you're packages might be watched clsely from here on in.

I have never received a letter but I've had shipments from reputable OPs never show up. They have of course reshipped, but I don't think the FDA / US Customs have time to issue a letter to every single package. The volume of packages exceeds the man power by a substantial amount. Of course I only order non-controlled, so that may have something to do with it.
