I see no reason why you couldn't mix the two if your trying to limit your APAP intake. If you're concerned about APAP toxicity and your liver check out N-acetyl cysteine. It's available online and used to treat Tylenol overdoses. Do a search here NAC. If you can't find anything PM me and I'll give you a link. Good luck.
Cheers

You can get NAC at any Vitamin Shop or GNC it is in the Amino Acid Section of the store. Use it it helps...a lot.

I know most of y'all are concerned over the apap amt's for your liver. My fiance (nurse) says they get quite a few folks in the hospital for stomach problems (ulcers, gastritis, acid reflux, etc.) caused from excessive IB. Many NSAID's (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) exacerbate this problem.
In other words, watch your intake of both meds (apap & IB). Daily limit of 1200 mg of IB. Both can really cause you problems

Will the NAC reduce the effectiveness of the APAP or the Hydro when taken together?

I take NAC since it is a precursor to Glutathione which helps the liver take care of the APAP. I haven't heard of or noticed any reduction in hydro/apap effectiveness from taking NAC.
