I ordered my first refill through Ephy the other day.
I called the pharmacy phone # listed on my medication bottle. They told me that I must call Ephy and they, in turn, would call the pharmacy with an approval.
I called Ephy at 9:00 in the morning their time, hoping that I would receive my refill the following day. I requested priority overnight (to be received by 10:30 a.m.-a $35 shipping charge-OUCH!). I was assured that I would, indeed, receive it the following day.
When I did not receive it the following day, I called Ephy. I was told, "Sorry-the pharmacy closed at 1:00 so they did not have time to fill it." They promised me that I would receive it the following day, which I did.
When I asked them to reduce the $35 shipping charge because I did not receive it the "next day, much less by 10:30 a.m.", they refused. I really did not think that was fair of them. After arguing with them until I was blue in the face, I still did not receive ANY adjustment whatsoever on the $35 shipping charge....
grrrrrrrrrr

I noticed that when I go through the web site for my refill, it is always processed the same day and sent the same day as well, unless it was late in the day.

Man that really sucks! I'm sorry that happened because I would have expected better customer service out of them. I just received my first script from them and they were incredibily nice so this really surprises me. Definetly go through the site next time. This is the first negative thing I've heard about ePHY.

i went through the site last week ,and it was painless.it went easier than the original processing. everything was by email this time.
side note:
i just wish ONE of these Pharmacies took a Stand and accepted real insurance for the meds. i'm all for the OP 'getting paid' for services rendered, but i dont see why these regular Filling pharmacies or fulfillment wholesales would have a problem with it. i have even emailed Dr M Watson's office -said to be one of the BEST regular Doctors around- (she has an office in TX and new website BTW), sadly they will Not either.
Cash is King ,i guess. no matter how 'UP and UP' it is.
...Sorry to get off subject, just on my mind today...

Have you ever looked at the pharmacys invoice when your prescription is submitted to an insurance carrier.
My ins. company (aetna) lets you look at your claims on-line.
My last prescription claim for hydro 10/325 #30
was prescription charge $43
atetna's discounted price $14.88
members responsibilities $10
total claims paid $4.88
your insurance company is not going to pay anything close to what the OP's charge for meds.

Excellent point Dukey. None of these places is hurting for business. They have a product that people will rob banks to get the money to buy , so why put up with the hassle?
