I have to say eRXonline always came through for me - not one problem in the 7 months I used them and they were my first OP. Having said that - things really got bad with them and caused a lot of people grief, so now I have to say good riddance.

I wanna know how they got one of my e-mail addresses. That peeves me and I've never been a customer of theirs thanks to this board.

As much of a laid back person as I am, I have to agree with you on this one 100%!! I'm glad to see them go too because they scammed so many people before they shutdown. I just hope some of us can recoop some or all of the money they scammed us on with this little email they are sending around even though we do have to go to our credit card companies. Oh well, lesson learned!

What goes around comes around really doesn't apply here.
They scammed and jammed as long as they could, pocketed millions and millions of dollars, and shut down before the DEA did it for them.

I agree, eelrm.

Unfortunately, some of these OP's will open office, obtain as many customers as possible by overriding the 'medical records' clause (which is VERY important for us as consumers to have), then when the DEA is fast on their tail, they will either book/close shop or get a visit from the Feds. Of course if they have a modicum of common sense, they will have all of their money tied up in overseas banks in other's names.

I think as pain patients it would be in our best interest to go with the OP's that require records, etc.. Even using a porta-medic. I'm seeking a pain specialist in my town that I can actually see in person, but this is going to eat a huge chunk out of my wallet, as our insurance is the pits right now.

In any case, I feel bad for those who have been ripped off by these people, because I realize that many need pain relief in a pinch (my husband used another OP just recently for his flu/cold), but it's obviously becoming a huge problem and may get worse, so it would be in our best interest to get our records in order, get the appropriate tests run on a regular basis and employ other modes of therapy as well as opiate or benzo's. I'm taking both right now, so I'm going to see if a doctor can help me with my situation.

Constant, chronic pain is something I wouldn't wish on anyone and I just hope that someday it's treated as a serious issue meant to be dealt with, not something to be brushed under the rug because of doctor's fears of DEA involvement when it comes to writing prescriptions.

Well, they ALSO sent me the same e-mail. I knew something was fishy with that place from day one so I ALSO never ordered from them. But how in the world did they get my e-mail address, too?

face facts people this place had no chance, Im proud to say i stayed away from the ''ERX'' craze, this ''OP'' is and was nothing but problems, people were using them as ''filler'' inbetween scripts and for what you pay for that ''60'' it was never worth it...IM GLAD THEY ARE GONE
