I really don't want to do anything either...I just want a straight answer...you know...we'll ship next Tuesday...I'm tired of being told "soon" after my order was confirmed, my credit card charged and receiving a shipping notification that said 2 days...then when I asked, was told "soon", seven days later, same email, another week...ditto...and now another email saying it will be shipped "priority" I WANT A DATE! (sorry) So did you get your order?

Ordered Sept 13, still waiting, although it was supposed to have been shipped Sept 15. Yes, I got all the emails, trouble with suppliers, trouble with delivery. Still no tracking number. I emailed them today asking again for a tracking number or something that would indicate when my order had actually been shipped. If not when. I'll post if I get an email from them. What makes me the maddest is that darned shipping and dispensing charge. Never again with these guys.

Hi,
I ordered Sept. 21st. They claimed they shipped on the 23rd.
When I emailed them, they apologized profusely for delay and blah blah blah blah.

They used to be so very very reliable. They claim they will reship at no charge, but when is the question, huh?

Is this another one of those cases of a really great OP going downhill? I hope not. Of course I hope my package is really lost and not in the dreaded hands of the MIB.

Alas, what's a girl to do?

I'd be willing to bet they haven't shipped yet...I got an email 2 days after order placed saying it will ship in 2 days...that was 3 weeks ago...and they have acknowledged they haven't shipped yet & keep telling me "soon"....I think they advertised on DB...and had so much good vibe going on the boards that they just weren't prepared for the onslaught of business....but geez....I wish I'd known before I ordered!

My 2 cents is that now is not the time to panic. I have ordered about 6 times and some take longer than others.

People need to be patient. I bet they come through. Keep in mind of all the emails they get and I'm sure it's hard to get back to everyone quickly. I did email and they replied in a day.

I may be wrong but this is a very good outfit that deserves a little more patience from us.

Your right of course...it's just frustrating when you get used to a certain level of service from a particular outlet and it changes...I sacked up & ordered small quantity of sleep aid from another OP will quit my whining now...

I'd like to blame the recent slow down on the fact that pretty much all federal tax dollars related to law enforcement and regulation agencies in the US are now devoted solely to counter-terrorism and "prevention of terrorist acts before they occur." (from Playboy magazine) Huh? So maybe they are x-raying, scanning, washing, polygraphing, and zapping everything smaller than a breadbox that comes from anywhere east of Finland. Although you'd think that customs must know IP packages by now. I mean, really. It seems like all I hear about on the news regarding IOPs is somehow related to trying to keep US Senior Citizens from filling their maintenance meds at affordable Canadian pharmacies.

I hate to generalize, but statistically speaking, IP doesn't sell the type of meds most commonly sought on DB. A short review of "who has it?" can tell you that. I recently read that someone recieved an apology from IP for the fact that they had run out of Soma. I've never seen any reports that they ran out of prilosec or prozac. So I really have a hard time believing that DB word of mouth OR advertising has inflated their sales beyond what they can handle.

It could be speculation, but the reliable IOP's I have used slow down only on order including something they are out of. When they are swamped by orders or do not have the staff to send things out within their usual "expect by" limits, they stop accepting orders until they catch up. See OLS4U and interpharm. If a certain med that keeps them in business is expected to be out of stock for some time, they close ordering for that item for a time (P24, Many Meds, OLS4U, interpharm, and, I imagine, many others).

If your package from a reliable OP has been shipped and you are experiencing what seems to be an abnormal delay, Your package has either been stolen (postal employees, customs) kidnapped (customs) is taking an unusually long trip over land in the continent of origin or the continent of receipt ( every known national postal system in the world ) or was killed in an act of god (typhoon, tornado, penny on the railroad, plane crash).

I had 4 shipments from 3 different IOPs kidnapped last spring. P24, Interpharm, and OLS4U. The last two had been shipped on exactly the dates promised. The last two were multi-shipment orders, and the other shipments in the orders were received precisely on schedule. I became extremely concerned that some agency was building a smuggling case on me. Interpharm started reshipping. The reshipment arrived in
Anyway, all I'm saying is that there are lots of reasons for delays that have nothing to do with the shipper. If you can find it, you might want to check the postmark dates on your packages when they do arrive to test this theory. Some IOPs are known for sending out creative shipping dates (coughOLS4Ucough), but all of my detained orders were shipped just as promised.

I've only ordered from ID once, back when the 1-2 week arrivals were still customary. We did not bother checking the postmark. Now 4 week arrivals appear to be customary. Either they have become creative with shipment dates, or are suffering from one of the above mentioned possibilities.

Well...all points are valid...except that ID has sent emails STATING they ran out of product, had problems with "suppliers" and orders were "held in the pharmacy longer than usual" but the problem was rectified and the orders would be shipped soon....I've just tried to get an idea of what "soon" is...I'm still waiting

Here is the latest message from them when I asked for a shipping number.

Thank you for the message. The tracking number is availabale with us but it is not updated to the tracking system of our courier yet. But please note that the package is in Transit and it will reach you in a few days time. We are very sorry for the delay.

Well,
I've always ordered from Imported Drugs without a hitch. Reliable, prompt, etc. Now it's going on six weeks without my order. I've received two emails from them. Both very polite, apologetic, and essentialy useless. First they tell me my order is backed up at their pharmacy. The second is that is being held up at their customs and they will reship at no cost to me.
It's so sad when such a really good one goes down. To be honest, as long as the Men in Black don't have my package then I can live with the loss. I'm a big girl and I knew going in my chances with IOPS.
But honestly, Imported Drugs was really one of the ones I would have truly bet the farm on (metaphorically speaking) of course.
Oh well, maybe they'll get their act together, maybe not.

Alas, it's hard to find such good dependable sources like that. At least I'm not alone. Everyone have a good week.

They used to ship Airborne or DHL or something from New York. It is illegal to ship non-FDA approved medicines like that. If they got caught and shut down, they may have resorted to shipping via Airmail like other OPs from India.

I don't know why they bothered with this because I've ordered dozens of packages from other OPs from India and received them all in less than 2 weeks and no seizures.

I am awfully worried too. They sent me the email saying they were in short supply of Soma. You do know why? Because all the doctors around here are weaning people off Soma, and they are substituting something else (like Skelaxin). Ugh. Soma is the best. That creates a greater demand on places like Imported Drugs. I have waited 3 weeks(I thought that was sufficient time) -->and I'm in terrible pain/I really need that Soma. Any other places that are delivering quickly? Flavia

Masters Marketing is reliable and fairly quick (I got mine in around 12 days, if memory serves correct). My only gripe is that I find their Soma kinda weak (generic, by the name of Carisoma). It's straight Carisoprodol, not Soma compound, but the Mutual Pharm Co generics I get from my local pharmacy seem a little more potent

HOOORAY!! Okay I received mine. Everything intact and in perfect shape as always. Just very very very very late.

So something's holding them up. Hmmm? Don't know. Oh yeah looking back on my earlier posts mine was not six weeks it was more like five. Still pretty long for Imported Drugs.com.

Anyhow, for everyone who has not received there is hope.

Ordered 10/6, received 10/27 via airborne, mailed from NY on 10/22. I only ordered Premarin and Prozac. 21 days, still not bad though all my other orders arrived within 10-15 days. When I emailed and asked if it had been shipped I got emails saying they were having problems with their supplier and were low on supplies. I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt this time since I've had so many positive experiences with them before.

Same story here My Grandparents place large orders with them about every 3 months to save $ on the considerable amount of medicine they need and I Place an order about once a month its been over a month with no delivery, usually 2 weeks max is the delivery time.
I e-mailed them (they have always been helpful) they e-mailed me back saying they had short supply of Soma and our orders would be shipped ASAP that was 2 weeks ago today so guess who is about to get another e-mail from me
