I'm curious about other people's experiences with these substances. I notice they're are fairly priced ad onlinesolution. Could someone please relate their effects to diazepam, alprozolam or clonazepam? I would appreciate it very much. As as side note, I use this class of drugs for insomnia, but ambien gives me nasty side effects.
thanks for the help!

I tried nitrazepam 5mg and found them very poor. I would think you would need 15mg to put you out. No experience with flurazepam, so you'll have to try it and report ba Best if kept off the board!

to throw into the mix, also I'm curious to bromazepam. If you could liken these drugs to one of the more common benzos in effects, that would help. I once heard mogadon was like rohypnol, but I was suspect of that person's comment.
ANyway, any of these drugs are at least $.75 a pill, so as long as can get something like xanax for only 25 cents a pill I might stick with it, unless there is some reason to try one of these other three.
BTW: I hate ambien. It just knocks me out. I want to be kinda dreamy and euphoric before I go to sleep, not just take something that just knocks me out. So any info on these meds is appreciated.

Well, the chemical name would relate nitrazepam to flunitrazepam (rohypnol). I was prescribed nitrazepam when living overseas as a muscle relaxant. That is one of its indications, along with anxiety and insomnia. The OLS4U nitraz is not very strong, so don't take that as an indicator of the drug. People with emotional or psychiatric problems should avoid nitrazepam in higher doses as it can induce or exacerbate depression and psychosis. Perhaps one reason for it not being available in the US.
I have not noticed nor have I read similar precautions about bromazepam. It's a sleeping pill.
Dalmane is currently manufactured in the US and prescribed as a sleeping pill. You should be able to find all the information you need about it on rxlist or drugs.com
