Just watched the 5:00 news here. There was a blurb, and I mean blurb, about an on-line pharmacy in Florida being raided. They showed footage of DEA agents moving boxes and boxes of drugs out a warehouse but did not mention the name of the pharmacy or physician. Only stated Florida.
They announced that thousands of patients were receiving narcotic meds without ever seeing the doctor associated with this raid.
They said it was "breaking news."
Anybody have any more specifics?

Lucky me. I ordered some Didrex from them last week. That's one package I guess I can stop waiting for.

So far the raiding of pharmacies and OP's has been systematic, i.e. one by one is being dealt with. I have no doubt that next week it'll be Tropical, then maybe nWW, then another, then another, until, well, all we have left is email sources and places like genxxl. Anyone tried them yet, incidentally? Whenever I email them they are always out of what I am looking for.

Do any of you remember Blue Nitro or ReNewtrient? You are now witnessing the replay in South Forida. In 3-4 months there will be no domestic OP's worth contacting. Forget it -- the one thing the US Gov't has never been able to stop is importation. Whatever your situation, you are going to have to accept a risky import solution or suffer.
Just keep in mind that John Ashcroft wants you to suffer - he is the Mengele of our generation salivating over the decision: who dies now, who suffers more and who is simply enslaved.

I agree- Florida is too hot now and under too much scrutiny. I would stay away from drs. and pharmacies that don't require phone conults with Dr./and copy of medical records.( that are based in FL)
This had been planned for a while.
Gov. Bush and his task force. Blah Blah.......

Plotinus - Do you really believe this to be true?? What about OP's like YOD, EVMG, etc.? Really, really starting to get worried over this situation.

Hi Legit --
This is the DEA - Ashcroft's Federal crew - closing down the distributors, the companies who warehouse and deliver hydro etc. to the OP's like the one's you mention. The DEA is yanking all of these distributors' Controlled Substance Licenses. The domestic OP's are going to be left with no legal source of supply for controlled substances, unless they can do deals with "more legitimate" distributors. But those distributors do not want their CS licenses revoked, so they will not deal with OP's until FDA/DEA come up with guide lines as to what is acceptable practice of online medicine. If in fact the FDA/DEA do come up with a set of guidelines, which I doubt, I'd expect it will be far more stringent than anything we've seen to date. Also, this will be nationwide. They went after Florida first, because that's where most of the obvious action has been. The only way to remedy this situation is through political pressure. Bush and Ashcroft are committed Drug Warriors, they will only relent, if they understand that it will cost them their jobs - but I don't detect that general sentiment even here on DB. So, yes, I think domestic OP business will dry up within 3-4 months. New forms of distribution will emerge on the web, but it will not be like the glory days of the past couple years. And it definitely will not be "legal" in Bush & Ashcroft's US.

It's a shame that the political leaders, "know not what they do" - creating more problems out of a much more easily-managable situation.

Hey Legit - I reread the articles in the Miami paper after seeing your concerns. Sounds like these guys have the money and the mouthpieces to fight this. Kind of like the mob or Larry Flynt (yes, I voted for him in the recent CA recall - atleast he knows how to run a successful business - even if you don't like the product ).
I'm not optimistic about their chances of success, given how quickly the dilute-GBL business folded when the FDA really leaned on them. But who knows? There may be some big Bush contributors among all those Cuban doctors, who write the script. As I said political pressure will decide this. You never know where that pressure might come from.

I have to laugh, you think they're going to raid all domestic ops one by one? Starting with one every three or four months? THat's ridiculous. There are thousands of ops. More than one new one appears daily. The task force the DEA just created for online scrips has a whopping six members.
No real effects is going to come out of this. Don't worry. A year and a half ago, Asscroft started raiding large glass pot pipe blowers too. But does that mean I can't go into any local convenience store and buy glass pot pipes today? No. Don't worry about dumasscroft, he'll do his thing here for a while, then there, but there's just too much going on for him to really do anything. Besides, His boss gets rich as all hell from current drug policy. Even if this grey area is restricted in the future, another will fill in.

A lot of this is to scare customers... and it's all for show to keep the "face" of Florida up, a state which is rife with vice under the surface... believe me they'd rather have some middle class person deal with an op than be out on the highway dealing with a street dealer. Florida is all about "appearances". Like the old days when I'd get my codeine cough medicine or Donnegal-PG paregoric shake from some high school kid at Eckerd's with a "just say no button." Tropicalrx will go because of its own incompetence next. And they're the used car dealers of ops, anyway - so stay away from 'em.
