If you are ordering from any of the OP's for the first time, you will receive your order, but if you do not wait until 90 days have passed from that order you are not going to get it filled before then, if then perhaps. What you will get from THIS (and Tropical cause I think they are sister companies) company, is that they will take your order, give you an order number, keep a hold on your cc (it won't be charged, they just keep putting a hold on that amount - at least Tropical does according to some) and list your order as processing. Many people I have talked on this board have not had a reply or answers as to if the order in processing is going to be automatically filled on that magical 90 day, will we be informed it is being shipped, etc., or are we duped. People will continue to order for the first time and it will be wonderful service and when script runs out in a month or so they will reorder and the above is what is going to happen - so beware. A lot of people do not know anything about a 90 day waiting period and the least the companies could do would be to put that information on their website!

bones, you have asked for another script before the 90 days were up with medpharmrx or tropical and received an order # and it was sent out with the great service like the first time? I have been emailing with many on the board and you are the first to ay this has not happened to you. You are lucky.

My initial order with MedPharmRx went GREAT...good service, fast delivery, etc.
When it came time to refill I went back to the website but unfortunately, it offers no info as to how long their refill waiting period is...so I gave it a whirl and crossed my fingers. I got an immediate message saying that my waiting period was not up and that they would fill my order, and bill my card, as soon as it was. This message did not say how long this waiting period is, either.
I then received an e-mail saying the same thing as the message -- that they would refill me when my waiting period was up and NOT bill my card until then. I replied to the e-mail asking how long the waiting period was but got no reply.
Getting the feeling they were going to put a hold on my card anyway, I called my bank and sure enough, they already had. (If they had just charged my card I could have disputed the charge and had it cleared off, but since it was a "hold", I was told I had to get the company itself to cancel it.)
After a few attempts at calling their very busy customer service number I finally got through. A very calm and courteous operator took my information, canceled the order and removed the CC hold with me there on the phone. (He also told me that they are now using the 90-day refill policy for all pain meds.)
Checking my e-mail immediately after hanging up, I found that I have also already received a cancellation-confirmation e-mail.
Overall, I'm pretty happy with the way MedPharmRx does business...but this 90-day thing blows. If they are going to stick with this policy, they should post it on their site.

A 90 day period in between refills is rediculous. Who wants to deal with that?

I received an email from them 10-16-03 offering pain meds. I don't know why I got it cause I've never used them, even visited their site htat I can recall. Anyway, let me get this right..they give you one month supply of meds? And you have to wait 3 months before you can get a refill?

They have about 15 sister sites and you probably used one of them. I think they integrated their database of customers and can tell if you ordered from a sister company. They knew I ordered from their dead sister firstmedsrx when I tried to use medpharmrx for the first time and said I had to wait out the full 90 days since the firstmedrx order.

So there are mixed messages and I want to get it straight. With medpharmrx if you place an order and are within the 90 days of tropical or any other sister site then will they give you an order number and put a hold on the card or will they tell you immediately that you have to wait until your waiting period is up? Just curious.. Thanks!!
