I usually get 10/500 but this time messed up and got 10/650. They are light green watsons. (locet I think). Well all they do is give me a headache. Whats the difference other than the ammount of accid(tylenol) LOL

10 mg hydro & 650 mg Acetaminophen
Just don't exceed 3000 mg of Acet/day or your liver is in trouble.

I used to take the 10/650's and actually found they worked better for my pain, but they had a tendency to make me nauseas and I had to be careful to have a little food in my stomach (I usually take my hydro on an empty stomach.) The only difference is the added APAP so I don't know why they would be giving you a headache. Maybe your body just needs to adjust to the change. Best of luck.

Haven't tried the 10/500's, but the 10/650's I got from eRxonline seemed to have that side effect for me. As for the ones I got from AAAMedsWorldWide- no headache. Weird- the same exact pills- not even a difference in maker- just a difference in the provider. I never gave much thought to it except for being happy to not have the headaches anymore.

Nausea and a headache go hand-in-hand if you are experiencing nausea from taking hydro. You should try taking 10/325's instead of the 10/650's because 650mg of apap is way too much medicine for one pill. If you take 2 pills a day now you're looking at 1.3 grams apap; 3 pills a day is almost 2 grams. Too much apap could also be causing the nausea.
BTW, I thought that 4 grams is the max you can take in a 24 hour period.

4 grams is max for a short period of time. Chronic users should not exceed 2600 mg of APAP.

Just to post , an obvious difference to anyone who has tryed both ( but maybe helpfull for those thinking about trying them ) the 650s are much larger pill. Harder to swallow. I notice they tend to be cheaper , but personally I find the 10/500 combo to work much better. Mental????? probably so . But they just seem to do the trick better .
