I did see my first Dr. in my new state, I explained my condition and she said I need to start doing massage therapy and gave me a RX for Mobic, a antiflamatory and 30 Vicodin 5mg only, she said I need to do other things for the pain besides take pain meds. I had blood taken and all!
I do a rx for physical therapy, stating my condition, would this be enough as far as medical records are concerned. The dr signed it and it says Chronic lower back pain from an accident, feels very tight and range of motion is off.
She even said, pain sucks! Well then what the hell is Mobic going to do for me? Nothing at all.
To everyone who says just go to another Doctor, well lets see I was there for 3 hrs, had to lose half a day of work, unpaid and I am sorry its not worth it to me to keep doing this until I found a Dr. who is willing to give me something for the pain on a monthly basis.
Anyway, its back to the online OP'S for now!

Sorry to hear about your experience. I completely understand your frustration. Seems like a whole day wasted for her to tell you "Suck it up."
I really hope you will eventually find a caring doctor that actually listens when you scream "LOOK! I AM IN PAIN AND I CANNOT DEAL WITH THIS ANYMORE!".
Good Luck and you have my full support. I just wish you could find a Dr that will listen!

Thanks KBLUES, It is very frustrating but I will have to wait awhile to take off from work again, I Cannot just leave whenever I feel like it to see a Dr. I wish this was the place for me but its not and so I will still use these OP'S until I find one that understands and cares!
I wish Dr.'s Would be in pain just one day so they would understand would we feel like. I do not wish pain on anyone but for one day they would be more understanding to us.

I get that treatment every time I go in for a problem, you get the motivation to finally ask your doctor for pain meds, they give you anti-inflammatory samples and will not even prescribe pain meds, if you ask they treat you like you are a "drug addict" or drug seeker. I have a hard time even getting Percocet even after a major surgery, it is getting rediculous! Thank goodness for these online OP's!
