Hi everyone! First let me say that I LOVE this board! I just found it a few days ago and it has been so informative!
I have been suffering from lower back pain since a fall about 6months ago and also CDM(Chronic Daily Migraines) for about 8yrs now! Well I have a doc that fills my scripts but he is cutting down the amounts so now I have to resort to OP's to supplement these meds until I find a new doctor! So anyways I guess what I am trying to ask is what OP can I order from and then send my records in? I can't get my records from my doc till the end of next week and would like to try my first OP as soon as tomorrow if possible.
The med that I need to supplement is Norco 10/325 but the problem is that I need to find a pharmacy that will fill it preferably with the Qualitest brand as that is what I am taking now. I can't take the Mallies(MalinKrodt?not sure if spelling is right) brand because it makes me VERY ill and I have never tried the Watson brand although a lot of posts that I have been reading seem to prefer that brand to any others! So info on this is helpful also!!!
I know that everyone has their different opinions on who is better but I would love to hear from anyone and everyone on this subject. I don't have a lot of money so I can't afford to spend $200 on something that either doesn't show up or I can't take due to allergic reactions!!
I would appreciate it very much and thank you dearly in advance for taking the time out to read my rambling and hopefully reply to my post!!
Thanks,
Kelly

In my opinion the best OP is your on line doc. Their prices are reasonable but they do require medical records. Its worth the wait if you can get your records because they
ALWAYS come thru.

AAAMedsWorldWide will get your meds to you before the records are due- however! You will need to get your records in before your 1st refill. Hope this helps- oh, and they only do overnight delivery.

AAA is apparently experiencing some delays as least as far as refills go. I don't know if this delay applies to new patients. My refill was billed on October 16th, and still shows that it is at the pharmacy in shipping (no tracking number). Barry said that it was at the pharmacy, but doesn't know why it hasn't already shipped.
I have no doubts that they will get here, but the million $$ question is, "When?"

There has been a lot of negative feedback on the VIP board about AAA lately about being put on hold for hours waiting for their consult.
In my opinion, I would try to tuff it out until you get your records and go with YOD.

I love Norcoworldwide. You don't need to send in records untill the first refill. Consult is $120. Hydro 10/325 is 82.00 for 90 and you get 2 refills. Great service. I've always gotten Watson generic from them and I think it's better than able generic. Hope this helps.

Norcoworldwide is good and also Ephy and Midland MC. Problem is with these OP's it's hard to know what kind of generic is going to show up. The norm seems to be Watson - but you could talk to the OP (call or send an email) and ask if you could get the Qualitest brand. Best of luck!

Hmmm... I certainly can't speak for everyone, but for myself- my first order through AAA was on 10/15. I filled out their forms and called when I received my email (within minutes) and total phone time including hold and consult was less than 10 minutes. Meds. received 10/ 16. I'm unsure of the problems, but I certainly didn't have any. Whatever you choose- good luck!

Hi, If your current prescription from your primary care Doc is in effect then you may need to send records first if asking for a duplicate med. You are attesting to your situation you describe when you fill out the questionaire. Not informing the op Doctor is possibly deceptive and listing it may cause a delay. Send your records, talk to the online Doctor and you will find help. That's a much better situation. This is for your consideration only and maybe someone more informed could clarify. Any opinion's on this scenario to be shared? Thanx Soc

Hello kjb595 and welcome to our board of never-ending and up-to-date info on OP..
I have the perfect answers to the 2 meds you need.
http://www.ephy.com for Hydrocodone 10/325. You must send in medical records to get emailed a consultation phone number in which you can call the docotor or his assistant. You can absolutely request the Qualitest brand, Mallies, or (my preference) yellow Watsons. They will do their best to fullfill that request by noting it on the prescription they write.
Consult (cheapest ever) is $45.
Meds (hydrocodone #90 10/325 is $75 and $25 for shipping (next day) plus you get two refills. You might request 2nd day shipping for $12. After refills are gone you must do the consultation once again ($45)
http://www.prescriptionskeywest.com/ is the best place to go and the cheapest prices around for Fioricet, Phrenilin or Ultracet for your migraine headaches. They have both brand name and generics. No consultation charge here.
Fioricet-generic #100 is $125.
Fioricet brand name #100 is $$175.00.
Phrenilin-generic #100 (no caffiene) is $125.
Phrenilin brand name (no caffiene) #100 is $150.00.
Ultracet brand name (Tramadol 325 mg) #100 is $175.
Hope this helps in your decision making.

Could someone please explain the difference in the chemical makeup of different generics (like norco 10/325) that would cause some "brands" to make people ill? I always thought generics were all the same and supposed to be chemically identical to the brand name with the same ingredients.
Until I joined this board, I have always thought people were just extrapolating and generalizing the effects from a handful of experiences with one generic vs. another when external variables made one generic seem stronger at the time than another generic at another time (e.g. taken on an empty stomach, with little sleep, etc.) Further, I believed people held to those initital experiences of relative strength and the placebo effect took over and it became a self-fullfilling prophecy that the generic that may have seemed stronger on one or a few occasions is always "better" for them. Now I don't know after seeing so many posts about different generics being better, stronger, weaker, making some people ill, etc.
Are there different ingredients or differences in manufacturing that would make Mallies weaker than Watsons for example? Any links to read more about this?

That's exactly right XanaxNY. The "PLACEBO EFFECT".. That's the other factor when speaking of one brand being better than another. If someone is getting sick from the Mallies, well that's most likely from the side effect of the hydocodone. It also could be too much apap as some brands contain more than others. Also, everyone has differing reactions to the same medication. The only way to find out is to put it to the test yourself. For me, I love Watsons 10/325 the best because there is less apap (acetominaphen).

I couldn't agree more!! I have used both of these ops for both back pain / pleurisy (hydro - ephy.com) and migranes (fiorcet, ultram - prescriptionkeywest.com) Now you will not be able to get your hydro until all of the paperwork is complete but if you do it early enough in the morning then you should be able to get your consultation and shipment out that day. As for prescriptionkeywest, you will get it next day by 10:30 fedex. (Both fedex actually) If you want the best bang for your buck go with ephy. They send out watson's though from my experience so you would have to ask about qualitest. I'm sure it would be fine if they have it in stock. (which they probably don't) but you will be surprised of the quality of the watson's I'm sure. Especially if you take qualitest. Anyways, you will probably find another op for the fiorcet or ultram that is cheaper than prescriptionkeywest but they are VERY reliable although not descreet packaging at all! It has a big orange sticker on it saying that you must be 21 and you must sign for it. Hope this helps... Good luck and welcome db!

I know there have been some adverse posts about however, I have used them twice with excellent results. Both times I went online and received consult within minutes and meds in under 24 hours. As long as you send your records with a cover sheet (found on the site) as soon as possible, your refills will come automatically when they are due. Pretty much hassle free! Good luck,

I understand that prescriptionskeywest now wants medical records to order their meds due to Florida regs. Anyone know if this is true? If so, it's too bad because their service has been excellent for a long time. I've got med. records for the med I order from them, but just think it's way too big a hassle to fax records for non-scheduled meds when you can get them elsewhere much more easily (and cheaply too).

Got a script last week and there was no records required. Unless it changed either Friday or today then you still don't have to have records. This doesn't mean it won't change in the future but I can't imagine that they would require much especially for migranes. Hope this helps... Train
