I need to know how to find and order pain medication for "serious" pain. I have had an incrediable amount of injuries and survival from necrotizing fasciitis(flesh eating bacteria), and have done the gamit of pain clinics, and epidurals , TENS unit, etc.. and my doctor feels uncomforterable with perscribing strong medications for chronic pain SO, living off a disablity pension from being a paramedic/firefighter with NO insurance I am at this point and need some direction, . . .PLEASE??? ANY and all!

welp, as far as I know the strongest you can get would be Hydrocodone (Norco 10/325's would be the *best*). Although I should note that you CAN get oxycodone (from MexRxOnline.com) however, it is extremelly expensive ($250 for 10 pills) but from what I've been told, they do come thru.
Now, if you're a betting man, you chould give www.genxxl.com a shot although it has got some positive feedbacks here the relaiablity is still somewhat unkonwn (but the upshot is, it that they claim to have 'everything')
Aside from those options, I don't know what to tell 'ya. If I were you I'd try and find a new doctor or pain clinic because quite frankly finding anything stronger than Hydro on the web is very difficult (some say impossable)...

I don't understand why everyone is so hung up on oxy-- morphine is much cheaper and more available (although still hard to get.) Even at genxxl (expensive for morphine), its 8$ for a 100mg slow release MS contin, would should be about the same strenghth as the $19.00 40mg oxy.
Is oxy better in people's opinions than morphine? What about hydromorphone? Levorphanol, oxymorphone... there's got to be other sched II's that are as available as oxycodone but there's not so much hype over. I can't say this from personal experience though.....

I agree that morphine is a better pain med, but have never found it to be more available. Also, if you can find it, a lot of places and people are starting to charge as much for that as they would for oxy.

Well, more available in the sense that it is much more common in every country of the world than oxy, except US. So, hypothetically at least, it should me more available from IOP's. But maybe its a supply/demand thing? BTW gehreke has 100mg morphine for 3$!!!!

I am new, what is BTW gehreke? Is it a web site or what? I agree, MS is fine with me. Actually Oxy really didn't help my pain that much, I would rather have MS. Any leads on it?

Point taken. I know that g-man has it for cheap, but there is the matter of a $200 minimum order as well as the fact that you may or may not receive your order in the next 3 months.

Part of your answer is "BTW" (by the way) but the "gehreke" is not something I personally am familiar. Possibly a website or Dr. is being referred to here. (?)
Answer to "gehreke." Gehrkes -

sorry folks, but oxycodone is by far stronger than MS or Hydrocodone. the "contin" part of oxycontin means "continuous" release. anyway, it's been reported that oxy is a much a 10 times stonger than MS, milli for milli. the hype is: it's stronger therefore more addictive. MS is an old timey pain med so to speak. oxycodone was developed a little later in history with the intention of just that.

Techincally you are right. mg for mg oxycodone is stronger than morphine orally, with 10mg morphine being about equal to 6.67mg of oxycodone. However, most Morphine is perscribed as MS Contin, negating the whole continuos release issue.

When they gave me ms contin after my accident last yr. I didn't think it was to great. I am told that this is because it's not as potent oraly. Something to do with a lot of it being waisted in the stomach. I had the 30mg's and even though I chewed them up, they didn't offer much pain relief. Maybe if you chewed them and then held them under your tounge till they dissolved they would work better. I've been told that this works on some meds.

Hi Padmakara! I just wanted to give you my opinion on your strength question! In MY OPINION Dilaudid(Hydromorphone) is stronger than anything else. I am not sure about this but I was told that it is like concentrated Morphine so that is why. But everyone has different chemical makeups so therefore we all have different reactions and tolerances to different meds! I hope this helped!!
