IMO They are selective scammers or too stupid to run a business correctly. I ordered and never got anything from them & it's been way over a month.

MexRx: Scammers IMO!! [Re: DrrD]
      #108167 - 10/17/03 11:53 AM

Well, I've been trying my best to "be patient", but I've about run out of patience. Lucky are those who did get their orders from these selective deliveries.
Perhaps I'll be sending "Carlos Samame" (or whatever his name is) some cash and see if I can't get San Diego's finest to be waiting for him at Western Union.
If you are one of the folks who think that would be "ruining a reliable OP", send me $250 and I'll hold off.

Doubt they have enough officers on the force to surveil every place that handles WU in San Diego

Skinnyboy,
What are you complaining about? you only ordered 9 days ago!! Some people have been waiting longer than that. You must be new to OP's. If you notice, yes some orders are taking longer than expected but they all come through. Also if you are sending Mexrx angry emails that will not help, keep your cool and give as many details as possible when sending emails to them. I dont think they are intending to scam anyone! READ ALL THE FEEDBACK! If you are going to continue to ordering from OP's you need to have more patience. My last order from Mexrx took 12 days, but I simply told them about it and waited for it to arrive, and it did. There is no need for people to jump to conclusions or ruin a good source for the rest of us. Skinny and Drrd, you guys are new here I see, Its not a good idea to post that you are going to try and get an OP busted just because your order is a week late. Orders getting backed up or lost or whatever is just a fact of life when dealing with any OP, it happens to the best of them. Hopefully you will get your order worked out.

Just realized this isnt exactly 'personal feedback about a specific order I placed' so I moved it to a more relevant forum.

Sorry.

Great post! You stated it perfectly. You are right some people dont realize how complex the system is and the risk mexrx is taking. They earn there money fair and sqaure providing a risky sought after service. I am kinda shocked from the posts I have read about people that have orders a week late and threatening to contact the police. They are for the most part new members and new to the OP business. Patience is a must when dealing with an OP especially one that is obviously really busy. If anyone orders from anywhere do your research and learn what to expect. Dont freak out because your order is a bit late, just politely inform the OP of the situation and include as much detail as possible.

Brian

Sometimes these guys have product availability issues, just like many of the OP's. They are probably swamped with orders, and I would agree with some of the threads that their command of the English language and followup to inquiries could use a little improvement.

But scammers?????? I don't think so. Try sending them a polite inquiry both on their website feedback page and by direct email. My bet is that your issues will be resolved.

Good luck.

SkinnyPup...read what Satchmo said, understand it, and get used to it. If you're too addicted, too impatient, too immature, or of not enough means to lose some money from time to time like has happened to all of us here...GET OUT of the game and don't make it any more difficult for yourself than you've already made it. Or better yet, go out to the streets to score. All you've got to worry about there is getting robbed and/or shot. Take heart, buddy.

I think the bottom line is that this particular organization has been swamped, and is in over their head. Frankly, their prices seem extremely reasonable and that would tend to attract a lot of business--probably more than they can handle.

I would hold to my earlier suggestion to "stand down" from ordering until these folks get their act together. I don't think they're scamming (recall that I *did* get an order, just not the one I placed); they're just swamped. Let the dust settle, let them hire more people, etc., and then things will be fine until our beloved Feds step in.

One perhaps irrelevant irony here (moderator, feel free to delete this paragraph) is that I generally order very tame antibiotics from these folks....not "scheduled" meds...that I could legally buy w/o a script at a Mexican pharmacy and bring back with me. I'd do that, but I don't live near Mexico. I use this company because it's cheaper and easier for me to get the meds from them than schedule multiple doctors' appointments, take the kids out of school, pay all the copayments, etc. These folks also used to be very fast. My insurance company should thank me for doing this, but I'm not waiting for a love letter from them!

Let me echo what some others have said above: If you are really in serious need of getting a medication NOW, go to a local MD, get a script, and go to RiteAid, CVS, SavOn, etc. Talk to your friends to find an understanding MD (and they are out there) who will at least write enough for you to get past any withdrawal or acute problems. The doc might suggest that you're addicted or need treatment or something like that, but if you're really, really hurting and you just need a couple of benzos (to use an example) to keep your sanity, most will write you a small script to ease your pain. (I know I'll get a flood of disagreement from saying this, but I do believe it.) However, if you have an undiagnosed condition that you are managing long-term with self-prescribed controlled substances, don't expect your local MD to continue to write scripts for you unless you're really wealthy and will pay him/her handsomely.

OK, I'll stop preaching. Peace and good health to all,

rg

I think Rocketguy stated that pretty well. I also agree that I think the fact that many of the meds MexRX are reasonably priced (compared to other sources) may mean they suddenly have more business than they were ready for.

If you -absolutely- need something asap, another source or way may be a better route, but if you can take the chance your order may be late (again, perhaps not, though!) I'd say give mexrx a shot.

Personally, I cant stand real doctors anymore...the hassle, the expense, the time taken out of a day to explain something only to have a doc give you useless meds...it's a joke.

I prefer to self medicate 'cause I can. If I lose some cash here and there, well...I still come out on top when I think of all the dough I would lose going to real docs with no results.

Besides. I'll be honest. I dont 'need' many of the meds I buy. I chose to buy them because; 1) I can. 2) I prefer my quality/way of life when taking certain meds.

If I can use them responsibly and I am not hurting anyone else, why the hell else should anyone else care?

Anyway...sorry...I wont get into that rant here...haha.

Have a good weekend, all.

SKB (& DrrD) -- my last post was an attempt at humor to get you to realize the absurdity of your post about setting up MexRx.

Now I will be more blunt - you ordered from them. They have a name and address connected to you. The people at the top of their business organization probably do NOT find threats like yours amusing. Take it from your old curmudgeon probation officer, there are some people you really don't want to mess with.
