I'm sure this question has been asked before, but do any of the Int'l OPs offer hyro? The US OP's are getting to be too much of a drain on my wallet.
Thanks for your help!

No..... It is urban-legend that hydro/oxycodone are ONLY manufactured in the U.S, but you will still not find a foreign OP willing to ship this medication. Trust me, it isn't gonna happen. For examply - Germany has a product called Oxygesic - which is their version of U.S 'OC' - but it is TIGHTLY controlled there, I believe even higher controlled (by comparison) than our version is here - and you will simply not find an OP willing to ship it out. Hydrocodone is produced in China and some other Asian countries in the form of cough medicine - but you will not find a Chinese OP willing to ship this product either. Some people will say (without proof) that Hydrocodone is only manufactured in the U.S...... This is simply NOT TRUE. But other countries have just as strict laws on hydro/oxy codone as the U.S does - and therefore you will not find a foreign OP willing to ship any pain medicines out any stronger than low-dose codeine or tramadol........ It just won't happen. For the same reason that U.S OP's (consultation sites) do not export prescriptions of hydrocodone to international customers....... Same thing/vice-versa........ Hydrocodone and oxycodone are produced in MANY more countries than just the U.S - but in some countries they are even MORE tightly scheduled/controlled than in the U.S...... I have used OP's for several years - you are not going to find a foreign pharmacy willing to prescribe or ship anything stronger than codeine to a U.S customer........ It will save you a lot of time and searching, to realize this right off the bat. There is a product called DHC (dihydrocodiene) (Brand name Contugesic) Which is used as a cough medicine in alot of European countries - and is a little bit stronger than Codeine. You may find an OP willing to send you this....... But it is still nowhere near the pain relief of hydrocodone. They have it, but they ain't gonna send it. Funny thing is -by U.S law - hydrocodone is on the same schedule as codeine. But what is offered by foreign OP's - is going to be based on THEIR laws. They CAN export certain things, and CAN NOT export other things. Even though in the U.S , codeine and hydrocodne are on the same schedule - this is not true in other countries. Anything stronger than DHC is VERY tightly controlled in Europe and Asia. So you will not find an OP willing to export it to an international customer. Hope this helps and saves you some time.

I guess the closest things you can get from IOPs for pain are tylenol 3 and 4 also temgesic. I know these are not hydro but supposidly do the same thing.

OLS4U has Talwin, a narcotic, but it's around half the strength of the usual Talacen, or Talwin made in USA, i.e.
they don't offer the 50mg pill. In my experience you can only get the 50mg via a U.S. O.P. with consult

Even though some of these other products listed above have codiene in them, they do not compare to hydrocodone. There is absolutley nothing international that compares unless the iop bought it from the US and is selling it back to you which if that's the case the price would probably be phenominally high! Hope this helps...

I agree with the other posters, the best I have found with IOP's are codeine based products like codeisian which is 30 mg codeine (similar to our tylenol 3 in the U.S., but without the fillers).

If you make sure to get the codeine products without filler (APAP, Aspirin, etc), they are the closest thing, and will keep your liver healthy !

Train -- please see Zeusjus post above on 7/10/03 US is not the only country that mfg's hydro and oxy!
As for my personal neurochemistry, I've found that chewing three 60mg contugesic (time-release dihydrocodeine)tablets and washing them down with coffee works about as well to start the day as two vicoprofen (2*(7.5mg hydro + 200mg IB))tablets washed down with coffee. Several IOP's offer contugesic 60's.

Please accept my apologizes for my ignorance on this subject. I guess I am one of the posters who claim that hydrocodone is only produced in the US and am outright wrong. I learn something new everyday from this forum. Thanks for clearing that up for me! Train

Both hydrocodone and oxycodone are synthesized from codeine, hence the codone last name. Oxycodone is generally considered the stronger analgesic of the two, milligram for milligram. For more details wait for Rush Limbaugh's next book.

It depends on the user. Most doctors will tell you that mg for mg hydrocodone and oxy codone are about equivalent, Though each individual will respond slightyly different to each product.

There have been mail order sources that sell 1-mg child's dose tabs of hydrocodone made in China. Unfortunately, when Customs nabs a shipment like that they go by the number of dosage units in deciding how to handle it. Since these places were selling them in units of 1000, it's asking for trouble. Customs would call your local drug task force to see if they'd do a controlled delivery for #1000 of a C-II.

I agree totally that it all depends on the individual, for example a Tylenol3 does more for me than a ES Vicodin??? Demerol make's my legs twitch but as far as pain relief or high....notta. I just ordered some Dihydrocodiene from a IOP 50mg tab's and fully exspect them to do just fine.
