I've searched for these guys on here and I can't find any posts, though I could have swore that the whole reason I used them was because of someone else's praise of them.
So...has anyone used them? Ordered Nurofen + and was contacted via e-mail stating that my order was shipped on 10/03. Was a real friendly guy who was all apologetic for not shipping immediately because of some out of town family business. Just wondered how long it would be before I received my order. Live in the U.S.
Also, whoever else may use Nurofen +, how has your experience with the stuff been? Is it effective?

Maybe you're thinking of www.overseas-prescription.com ? A now defunct site related to farmacia-mundial and worldwide-prescriptions.com. There used to be some discussions about these places on the boards, and my recollection is that it wasn't positive.
I have no personal experience with any of these places. Sorry.

They are very good. Always come through, and are very reasonable if there are any problems. Based in New Zealand, right?

Nurofen plus is codeine-plus-something-else, right? And the tab is scored, with the "+" sign on one half? And if you snap off the "+" sign you have just codeine? Sure beats doing a cold-water extraction. It would be nice if you could snap the Tylenol off a Tylenol-3 or 4.

I'm pretty sure the medical community down under raised a stir about the abusability of this med for that precise reason and know I heard talk of reformulating in news posted here a while back. If you are hoping to take advantage of N+'s "pop-off" effect, I definitely reccommend first doing a search in the news forum for Nurofen Plus and doing further research.

First of all, I wasn't aware that you could pop off the acetominophine or ibuprophen portion of Nurophen, but that would be a plus since I don't appreciate those large portions of meds affecting my liver. (Have Hep C) But if it's being reformed, oh well, I didn't know otherwise until now anyway.
Glad to know that overseas-online-pharmacy is good, Mike, but is this based on your own personal experience? I've been waiting patiently, but I know it could be a while since it is being shipped from New Zealand. It was shipped on 10/3. Would you have any idea how long a wait it would be?

Yes, from personal experience. I used them about 8 times. Once, I didnt receive my order. I told them, and without any hassle they shipped it again.

Ah, that's such a relief to hear, Mike! I'm glad they're working good for you.
Just another quick question, though. About how long do you have to wait for your shipments? Mine was shipped on the 3rd and it's already the 15th. Should be arriving any day now, ya think? Maybe give it another week?
Oh, here's another question for everyone about Nurophen. Someone I know brought this to my attention.
You know how you can't sell alcohol to minors under the age of 21 in the states, right? But they can purchase certain cough medicines and other items that contain minute amounts of alcohol. Is that how this Nurophen + is? Is it just a minute amount of codiene and that's how they can get by with selling it OTC like that? I didn't see any actual amounts of codiene contained in each tablet and wondered.

nurophen plus has 12.8 mg of codeine. It is a pharmacy only med. That means in order to purchase it you have to ask the pharmacist for it in New Zeland. Many IOP's have you fill out a short form asking what you are taking it for and have you taken it before? They control it by limitting the amount of quanities you can buy at one time.

Well, I got my Nurofen Plus and I'm disappointed. Not only is this stuff weak, but it tears up my stomach! Dang it!
I wasn't asked to fill out any such forms or asked what reason I was taking it for. I just received it. 72 pills is what I received. I could have ordered more.
Guess places are different.

just a bit of a warning,
if you at thinking of splitting the nurofen plus it has to latteral. That is like a hamburger across the middle. They will split quite easily so the half with the N+ on it contains the codeine.
The blank other half contains the ipubrophen.
I have taken a number of the codeine halfs at a time without problems but I wouldn't want anyone to injest the ipubrofen accidentally since the consequences can be serious.

Thanks for the info, but listen, the tabs aren't scored, so I think it's all blended together. I guess, according to some, this particular medication has been modified because people break off the APAP portion. Let me know ASAP.

I'm sitting here with my pill splitter right now and cutting a couple laterally. It seems the N+ side is slimmer and there's a curve in the pill, from seperating. Now, my guess is that the pill would have a clean slice with no curve whatsoever if the two ingredients were blended.
My boyfriend would absolutely die if he saw me doing this
right now!
