clonezepam, klonipin, & various other brands/foreign names ~ whatever..
what are the standard MG different dosages. i'm aware of the 2mgs, & isn't there a 5mg? what else???

I know there is a .50 but I don't know if there is a 5. I thought there was, but then I found out it was a .50 that I was getting. I hear there was a 1 mg too, but I haven't seen any.

The .5 to 1mg is what is used for anxiety, twice a day. Anything above that and it will knock you the hell out! Just what my head doc said and expierience. First start on the .5 for a while, see if that works, then if that doesnt help try the 1mg. Hope this helps. -AFI

i guess thats all the facts then. i posted the same question on the VIP side & got the same answers.
reason i ask is ~ a few years ago i was prescribed xanax, valium, & ativan (at different times of course), & when i ran out a friend gave me a klonipin. KNOCKED ME ON MY ARSE, BIG TIME!!! now that i've gotten some 2mgs & have been taking them moderately (breaking them into halves & sometimes quarters.) but i notice that the tolerance thingy must just happen real fast ~ cuz now after 2 weeks, i could take a whole one & still function.
so i wondered if the first time i used one & got knocked out was cuz it was of a higher potency, but it seems that its just a matter of one's system being not used to the chemical in question (even tho i had a fairly high tolerance to other benzos).

I think you answered your own question there
I imgaine you did build up a tolerance (happens quick dagnabit) So you won't get as much bang for your buck so to speak. Be careful with those benzos now  it's a good idea (if possible) to give yourself a little break here and there from them; you don't want to go through benzo withdrawal, it's rather ugly. A week benzo-free every couple months (give or take) should suffice. It will bring your tolerance back down and keep the rebound anxiety from getting out of hand during those benzo-free times. (not trying to mother you or anything, just a little unsolicited advice, just in case you didn't already know this) take it or leave it

Thanx Stella ~ yes, i am aware about the perils of benzo withdrawl (probably the worst RXs to come off of!) but thanks for the advice.

got to see them aprox 30 times between '86-87. spent more time ticketless in the parking lots too.

Another interesting or non-interesting factoid, I lived in L.A. most of my life, before moving up north. Saw that in your location thingie there to the left and had to comment, since we took this fun little detour and all.
