'Internet Explorer has caused an error Kernel32.DL
      #100955 - 09/18/03 07:45 AM

Every time I open Internet Explorer, I get a 'Internet Explorer has caused an error Kernel32.DLL message and then it closes on me. Help! I have no clue.
I did a virus scan, cleared my history folder, everything that I could possibly think of doing with no computer technical knowledge. So any advice would be SO appreciated. I'm using Netscape now, but I hate Netscape
Thanks in advance

Yep,I tried re-booting. Now I'm thinking about booting said computer out the window. I just got it out of the shop after a major crash last week.
So, if ya'll don't see me around for awhile, it's because this hunk of junk computer is back in the shop.
Don't anyone talk about me while I'm gone. LOL

That is really not much to diag a prob. What OS are you using? What version of IE are you using. What is the entire error message. What was it that your were doing that lead up to the crash of IE? A little more info may help.

Best Regards.

Howie, thanks so much for the link! It puts a little more light on the subject although I have to admit, way too technical for the likes of me. We've just decided to take the computer back to the shop. We had a major crash just a few weeks ago and spent $250 having it fixed. (new hard drive etc) so hopefully maybe he will fix it for free this time. We have an old back up puter we can use in the meantime.

LOL @ Intrepid! Just don't tell anyone!
