this morning i got a PM adverstisement from drug buyers saying aaamedsworldwide was having a October it stated "all returning counstomder will get $15 1st consult, $30 off 2nd consult, ect. and it also said it included 20% off all meds, and 3 refills. So i made my consult with aaamedsworldwide first thing this morning, had the consult. then called the main office to get my tracking # and to verify hte october special they were running, and they said the only special they had going on was the money off the consult, BUT NOT the 20% off meds, OR THE 3 REFILLS, and now they can do nothing. aaamedsworldwide said drugbuyers.com was at fault for "false advertisement" so im wondering what DB is going to do (compensate?) since other people im sure are having the same problems? Just a big hassle!!

I believe it was just an innocent mistake. The real offer is 3 refills and free shipping for the October special. There is also an incentive program it seems, but it doesn't give you a discount on the first consult. After you have completed the first order....Consult and the 3 refills....you will then receive a discount on your second consultation. Once that order is complete, you get an even greater discount on your 3rd consult until you have reached the point that you are getting $60 off the original consult price. This is not retroactive, so it starts with your next consultation.
I understand your frustration, but you are getting nearly an equal value, depending on the cost of your meds...possibly even a better deal with the free shipping, which is $22 I believe.
This is a top notch company and Barry makes sure it runs as smoothly as possible. Of course there will be glitches, but he will fix it. Give them a chance before you get too angry.
Take care,

I've pasted the PM I got below:
RIGHT NOW FOR A LIMITED TIME IN OCTOBER
3 REFILLS and FREE SHIPPING!.
For DrugBuyers.Com members
... and there is more:
All returning customers will now receive a discount for return consultations after a completion of an order. 2nd Consultation: $15.00 Off; 3rd Consultation: $30.00 Off; 4th Consultation: $45.00 Off; 5th Consultation: $60.00 Off.
Offer is availlbe only to those following this link
It doesn't say anything about 20% off all meds, and the discount for the consultation begins with the 2nd one.
Did you receive a different PM than this?

The first one did, antique- I got it too. Though, I'd already pm'd barry before I got the message, so I knew that it was an error by DB. It appears as though they recalled the errant message and resent it with the correct offer. An innocent mistake. We're all human and unless you never have a flaw, then you can't hold it against anybody else- in my opinion (PS- that wasn't meant for you, antique, just a statement in general, lol.)

Okay, let me get this straight. If I have had (hypothetically) 3 concults and my next will be my fourth, I do not get any discount, right? As far as they are concerned, my next would be my first for this specail right? If it starts with your next concult, then how come it states "to retuning customers" I am confused, so what else is knew, Ha!. Tell me if I am wrong or right here, please.

Greycie, I'm perfect, so what does that mean? Besides that I'm full of manure.
Chevygal, it was confusing to me too & I'm an attorney. You quit putting yourself down!!! Stop it! Bad!

Well this really sucks. If you are an existing customer you only qualify for the incentive program. The only people receiving the 3 refills and free shipping are NEW customers. Not only that but the price of their soma has increased from $55 to $101. I PM'd Barry and he said he would get back to me about why the price had gone up so much. I'm due for a new consult on Saturday but without the 3 refills and with the medication price increase, I think I'm going to use YOD. I hate to leave AAAMWW because Barry is so wonderful and has helped me a number of times, but I just can't afford it without the specials and it's clear the only savings we loyal customers are going to get is $15 off starting in 3 months. Personally, I think the special should be given to everyone and not only that...the banner says it's a special for all drugbuyer members...not just NEW customers. The whole thing is confusing.
I wish I didn't have to find some place else....

Ummm not valid for new customers? If this is the case, my business will goto netpains.com for my consult in 2 weeks seein as my records are there anyhow. Barry is this true, new customers only for 3 refills?

madam
this mean even if I had ten concults, this don't start until my next one. I think that anyone that has been a customer and is on say the second or third should get the $30 or $40 off starting with their next consult, not having to start at square one when ya already have been there for a while. IF that is the case and everyone basically starts at square one then the old customer ought to get the free shipping and stuff also. Don't ya think?

I agree. This pretty much leaves their old customers out of any specials. Doesn't make a lot of sense.
