Ok,Who's the wise guy...
While clicking on the "General Info.Comments,Questions" forum just now,the thread,"FedEx sent Tylenol" (short version) at the bottom of the screen, my browser reported this thread was transferring from,"you-are-a-huge-nerd.com" instead of the norm,"transferring from drugbuyers.com".
Anyone else see this when clicking on this particular thread?

Jeremiah, something funny is going on here. I have observed some strange behavior from my computer today and ran some virus scanning and spyware finding software. One virus and several spyware programs were found. From my firewall software I saw that there were 2 programs put onto my computer today! Those programs were trying to access the internet from my computer but were blocked by my firewall although the firewall did not alert me that anything was trying to access the internet.
My firewall also logs websites I have visited. There were some websites that I had definitely NOT visited, such as you-are-a-huge-nerd.com and various porn sites. No one else has access to my computer but me so I know what websites have been visited.
I made a visit to codeine.50g.com website earlier today for some info that I posted. When the website was loading, I had a window come up saying I needed some kind of plug-in for viewing and it said that the certificate was verified by NSI or whatever those things usually say. I admit, it was stupid of me to not check it out further, and I let it download. It appears that it put spyware on my computer. I have removed all the identified spyware and the virus.
I just wanted to give you a warning that something underhanded is going on with that you-are-a-huge-nerd.com message. I'm going to send this message to the moderator and hopefully they can look into it. Because I think that there is a problem on the board here besides my stupid actions with downloading the plug-in. Be sure to scan your hard drive.

Thanks Antique
Since no one responded,I thought it may be my old pc,again but I've never seen anything like this before.
I'm running Norton AV and Spybot advanced mode right now. I'll check my Zone Alarm log, too. My ports are hid and it says I'm running Stealth. Whew,I'm sure thankful this program exists.
Norton picked up something a few weeks ago from,of all places,Microsoft Knowledge Base. At the same time,ZA notified me a program was trying to access the web,I had never heard of it before so I denied it.
Let me know if you find anything, same here.
Thanks!

Yo J-dogg,
I just checked out the page, you're seeing that because that's where fliptheswitch's signature picture is being downloaded from. It's all good, nothing to worry about, anytime a picture is coming from another site, you'll occasionaly catch a different hostname in that bottom transfer bar. Plus, I find the domain name hilarious and flip is a fellow Illinoisan (if I remember correctly). I miss Chi No need to worry J Nice domain flip
I need to visit the city again ASAP....

OK, I guess that explains why in my ZoneAlarm log it showed I had visited the you-are a nerd or whatever website. I see some porn sites too, so maybe some DBers ativans come from those.
So I may have a separate problem from my lapse in judgment allowing that plug-in to be installed. I'll start a new thread on it to bring it to people's awareness and see if anyone else has had this happen.

Yah, most of those software filters like zonealarm will trigger an event if a site you're visiting, makes a call for information from another site. You can turn it off because of annoyance, but sometimes it's nice to know about the embedded information as well. The porn links are DEFINETELY coming from the various med sites and probably html data within email as well. Someone else here will definetely know zone alarm enough to point out where to disable alerts for "outside referrers" or "externally linked sites" or another similar metaphor.
