Well, as anyone who reads the boards widely knows, I cannot in any way, shpae, or form afford to order from AM. Their preices are insance for those of us paying by the dollar. But thank gof for the American tradition of handingout credit cards to anone who makes it to college. Sure, I'm going to have to seel off some books and sign my state disability check over to my roommate nexth month so she can make up the rent that's not in my bank account, but I have a mind-boggling credit limit.
AM has fascinated me from the begining but I have be an adament supporter of my small group of IOPs. Unfortunately, you can't always get what you want from the OPs you love, so I took the leap and gulped down that 50 dollar "consult" feww (my threat still hurts) and placed an order this monring.
I long ago gave up on ordering popular benzos from overseas (excep from P24) I have been in the season for nonFDA sanctioned meds for a whlie. Si I irdered sine if ny favorite (nitrazepam) and another suggested (bromazepam. For some spice I threw in meprogesic, since mepro is one pain med I haven't been on yet.
It took me about 17 tries to enter my CC info right, and then I finally got my confirmation number and price. Around 1000 rands turned out to be about 1 147 dollars. The USD is inchingits way back up but it'saling it's rpecious crime.
It sounds like AM is pretty hard core about their 3-only policy This is quite a scam. I ordered 2 (30tabs) of one med, another
hundred order of a second, and 2 more of one med that comes in hundreds,
If they have to have a limitmit should be 300 pills, not 3 orders. Some of these meds come in orders of thrity, and that's just ridiculous.
If they decide to cancel some of my requests will they write and ask first about my preferences? I sure hope so.
Oh, and I'm sure this question has been asnwered on every other page of this topic, but do you have to sgin for it or does o shisup

It's been awhile since I used them, about 10 months.
But I did not have to sign for anything.

Hi Toe-I'm visiting from the vip side just to fill in any useful info I might have (as limited as that might be!!!!) I have used AM for a while, though like you their prices have gotten to the point where I order much less often. They have always come through-every order and I have never had to sign for anything. Good packaging and I'll leave it at that. As to the 3 item deal, in my experience they have NOT given m e a choice as to what to eliminate if I ordered more than three items-they seemed to randomly pick the ones not to send. Of course now I know better and I only order three things when I've won the lotto or something. Hope this helps. j

Same story here -- been using AM for several years, never a problem. I've slowed the ordering considerably over the past 10 months due to the ever-worsening exchange rate. Never a package seized, never a problem with the meds. Their packaging is just fine, too. As to bromazepam, theirs is pretty good. I've not tried the 'name brand' but i've tried every cheap brand they carry and have never been disappointed. Now i'm waiting for Nitrazepam from AvoidMiddleMan.com... (AM only carries the 5MG and the price is too high for me on that one!). Good luck.. although you probably won't need it with AM...

Hey guys. . . I *know* I'm overeacting, since it's only been half a day sine I processed my order, but I figured I'd try out their fancy doohickies with tracking and what not, and nothing showed up. I'm pretty sure my transaction was finalized, but I ordered this AM. So that was probably around the end of their working day and no one will be in to push numbers around until later this evening (EST).
How are they with correspondence? If they are going to limit my plty order to three items, I'd like to give them my preferences on which items to ship. (Nix the mepro and extra brom). I guess I will give customer service a shout out.
They are EXPENSIVE! The lesser known benzos are almost universally dirt cheap. I guess I should contragulate SA for having a strong currency, but I'm too busy sulking.

Well, I wrote a pleading letter documenting the conditions for which I require the meds ordered and pointing out that even the 200 bromazepam is just 3 month supply (the 60 nitrazepam and 100 mepro are just one month). I was courteous and fawning and asked that they have their doctor reiew my letter if possible. I also played the disabled and poor card, which generally doesn't fly well with Americans, but since my monthly pension is now less than the cost of my original order to AM, it might sneak by. Add that to the fact that the dollar is sinking like a 6 month corpse in the river. . .
And of course I closed with my own request for the trimming. . . that they send the 60 nitrazpeam and 100 bromazepam and toss the mepro. Has anyone ever tried requesting, after the fact, the psecific 3 units to be sent? Any success?
I sent the mail to both the @access-meds.com and the yahoo address. Yeah, I know that their webmaster probably doesn't have much to do with the the decision-making process, but when I'm unfamilar with a company I like to CC my mails to as many addies as I can find.
Good to know that, whatver they send, I won't have to sign for it.
Info, comments, questions, answers, help?

For what it's worth, they deliver and it's taking about 3 weeks. If they insist on a limit of three, I would eliminate whatever is cheapest or easiest to get elsewhere. And yeah, it isn't cheap because of the consult fee. They respond to emails with about 48 hours. Hopefully you included your preferences with your order as to what meds to ship. If not, hopefully they'll catch it before hand. I would imagine that they are really busy, most of their emails are matter of fact and to the point, not butt kissing like some OP's.
I'm sorry you are in such a bind. I hope I helped a little bit.

I hope they do catch it. As a business I am sure they will eliminate the cheapest med-meprogesic-first. The nitrazepam is terribly important, as I stressed in my mail. Only 30 are included in a unit, so it's almost a crime to cut out one of those. I think they'll make more money sending the 2 units of bromazepam and one unit of nitraz. . . but I'll tell you one thing they won't get. . . a repeat customer.
I could have ordered 3 units of nitrazepam (total=90 pills) for less than 45 dollars. The add-ons would double that. Not even remotely worth is for under 100 5mg nitrazepam.
Oh well. Hopefully they will respect my requests (even better if they'd realize that refusing a single order of 360 tabs is a ridiculous way to do business.
I will definitely hold on to wait for their reply. It's good to hear they have good turnaround nowadays. But their response to my e-mail and my subsequent shipment will definitely determine who will be the lucky benefator of next year's tax refund, lol.

Well Toe, for what it's worth, I emailed them some months ago when they were sending boxes and such and one came through damaged. Now that got a prompt response wanting to know details etc. And we see what they've done to their packaging since. You nay have a shot if they haven't emailed you that "order shipped xx/xx/xx" which seems to come pretty quickly to get them to change-I know I've read on the board(s) that a couple have had success. Too bad-they really have been good and I am one who has been burned for a lot of money-they always come through but the price has gotten steep along with the three meds only policy. Good Luck!!!j

Got a reply this morning that they are limited to four meds. Maybe that's because one of mine was for an item that comes in units of 30. . . they are sending 2 of that, plus the brazepam and meprogesic. Quick turnaround, I'm impressed. It will bring the bill down a bit and I am still getting pretty much everything I ordered.
