Boy I can't figure this place out, I ordered before received the med's but were the wrong ones, after back and forth E-Mails he sen't me the right ones I even sen't him a little extra cash to help with the shipping, He praised me and said how honorable I was so now I thought we had a place we could trust.
I ordered again over two weeks ago and all I get Is avoiding E-Mails, never answers the questions I ask, always things are back to normal again and will get in contact soon on shipping date.
He's got my cash and I have an echo in my pocket.
I would wait to here some positive feedback before ordering from this place

I agree about waiting for more feedback before placing more orders.
I received 1 of 3 items from an order shipped on Sep 4.

This gut does this to EVERYONE!!! Your story sounds exactly like mine, I did fiannly get what I ordered, but it took forever. This guy is either out to lunch, or just ships until you shut up. I can see him screwing up a few orders, but more and more people have the same problems with the Capt.
Hope you get you order figured out.

I have to agree. I received 1/3 of my sleep meds a month ago. That was it. Not responding to E-Mail.....nadda. Well, live and learn. I thought that I would give him a try as his prices are good....but if you only receive 1/3 of what you paid for...well it gets a little costly in the long run. Just be carefull and good luck with this one.

Its too bad to see all these negative experiences. I'm 2 for 2 with him and was very pleased. Was considering ordering again, but maybe he is currently distracted by something.

I just received an E-Mail from the Capt. this what he said.
Hi!
I just received over 88 emails, as my Internet connection was also down and I could not connect with no body I mean no body at all due to too many things going wrong at the same time including ships satellite link and communications high gain antenna tower.
I had no connection with my staff, but I am confident they were working relentlessly.
So we are back in business.
I will be checking things one by one and get back to you within next 12 hours.
Please it was no bodys fault just the weather, rough sea and high 130 knots winds.
Wait for next email before losing hope.
Take care
I will always be at your service as a sincere friend.
Sebastian
130 mph winds and your on a ship.....guess thats a good reason for no contact!
we shall see.

I just received the same email concerning my order. It sounds legit to me . He is on a ship with 130 mph winds. Because of this, he lost contact with his staff do to a satellite down link failure as the ships high gain antenna tower was lost in the storm. And I have 12 hours before I should lose all hope. I think I have peed my pants on this one. This is Sooooooooooo good he can keep the money. This was worth it. Just glad it was a small test order. Mmmmmmmmm maybe he could put my meds in a bottle and toss it overboard it would get here faster. Ya gotta love it!

I'm pretty sure he is actually telling the truth. About your meds, I don't know. But when I lost my job, he PMed me (and another person, I think) offering a job helping to manage his websites while he was out circumnavigating (some planet).
I have never ordered from him, so there's no real reason he would have to contact me particularly and since our first e-mail exchange (I didn't respond to his answer to mine) he has not bothered me.
But as for him trying to run AMM from a boat, it's true. Ridiculous, but true.

All I can add to this is that if you deal with AMM, be prepared for quite a bit of odd correspondance before the deal is done. On average i'd expect at least 5 or 6 messages back and forth, some that make sense and others that are just plain odd (Like the one I, and probably many of you received today, titled Hi Benny! -- and no, my name ain't Benny). That's normal when dealing with the Cap'n. I have no idea if he's a scammer or not, i've only used him once before and am only venturing into this again because he is the only one who carries a med I really need, but for whatever the he11 it's worth he is always cordial in the messages. Now i'd just like confirmation that the meds I ordered a week+ ago have been shipped.....

I also ordered meds a week ago, e-mailed him two days later to find out whats up, got a canned response about how 'things have been busy but we here at AMM are running a tight ship' Haha, a throwback to the fact that he runs a ship. How clever. Anyway, wrote back again today requesting an tracking # immediately or else to refund my money. Wonder what he'll say this time?

A week isn't a long time at all for him or any IOP and he doesn't use tracking numbers...its just regular mail. My order from him took 5 weeks I think....which was around what I expected.

Hi everyone. I don't know what the story is with this guy.
Some people receive nothing, some partial. I have been lucky to receive 6 for 6 and when I received a partial order once he shipped it free of charge. I guess I'm lucky and will order from him again because the prices are cheap, but I can HONESTLY HONESTLY say I'm on pins and needles until the order actually arrives because of so many of the inconsinsities I've read about and seen a few of my friends go through. Just placed an order last night and again.................I'll wait-

Yes, there is something strange going on w/ the capt. right now. I was 2 for 2, and then now it is almost a month, and I still keep getting the weird emails. I inquired about a refund and he almost immediatly responded "yes, of course." So I asked if he was going out of buisness and he was shocked, astounded at the rumour!
Then he asked me to send a list of missing meds, I did, then today I receive a poem about how well he treats women.
I answered back, told him that was sweet, but where is my order? Well the soap opera continues..will post if I ever receive.

That sounds basically like what i'm dealing with right now. How many times can a place send you the same letter asking "Could you please relist in detail what it was that you ordered?" I "placed" my order 10+ days ago and still can't figure out if they even fully understand what i'm wanting. They certainly weren't slow to pick up the paypal funds, I did notice. I'm beginning to get used to reading/scratching-head/responding to at least 1 avoidmiddleman e-mail each morning. IF nothing else, this place gives you about 1000 opportunities to change your mind and get a refund. I'm often guilty of being a bit of an impulse IOP shopper, and I have certainly considered telling him to just forget it about 50 times. That's especially true each day when I get another confusing message from them, not confirming that my package has shipped, but just another strange letter that either makes no sense, (as if it were accidentally sent to me instead of the proper person), or it's just another letter asking for me to explain what I already told them when I ordered on the site, and again in mail. Good, bad, i'd call it crazy and my patience is wearing thin.... and so is my medicine supply, the reason i'm even dealing with this place.
NS - not waiting much longer, Cap'n....

Thats great I got a reply from the Capt that basically said he was having trouble pleaseing his wife in bed. I thought great, but what the ____ do I care and where are my meds. This guy is no dumb dumb, and is by no accident that almost everyone recieves wrong meds on 1st ship then resip, etc..

Received E-Mail today and he said my items were dispatched today, I hope this Isn't more of his %#%^@#*%@*%.
I ordered 3 weeks ago and have been playing ping pong E-Mail with him this whole time, I think he samples the meds before he sends, thats the only thing I can think of with this guy.
Great prices, just wish he was a little more stable, I will let you know If and when I get my order.

I've used him once and got exactly what I ordered in about the time he promised. His list of what he offers is very extensive. But I'm holding off with all this negative feedback. He seems to go up and down. For a certain period of time, everything is great. Then all of the sudden, everything goes sour. I agree that his emails do often get way on the weird side . I guess I was just lucky that I came out one for one with him.

That behavior is totally unprofessional and kinda scary. What's up with this Capt.? What ship did he just get off of? Sounds like he's "Sea Sick".Why even bother with such idiotic and perverse behavior? Isn't there another IOP that will deliver the same thing without the "Love letters" and "Sexually related comments".As consumers were here to place & receive orders from the IOP's, and not to receive personal correspondences relating to their unsatisfactory sexual encounters. Sounds like a personal problem to me,huh! The Capt.should keep his small minded comments/displeasure to himself and not share with the whole world his sexual inadequacies with his wife.Just had to open my mouth on this you all, because it's sooooo unprofessional and inappropiate.I guess some people will go to any lengths to get "excited"!

I think the problems start when I place an order. I was in on this about a year ago, when avoidmiddleman.com first appeared on the scene, and I had the same experience as now -- lots of nonsense. I tried him a year ago and had a ____ of a time and told myself i'd never use him again because it was such an ordeal. Then, for 8 or 9 months I see better and better reports on the service so I get stupid and decide to try again. Any better? Nope, seems *exactly* like last year -- weird e-mails full of promises and praise and lots of frustration. I wouldn't have even bothered but it seems insomnia gets worse for me at this time of the year and AMM is the only site that i've found that offers 10 MG nitrazepam for a vaguely reasonable price. Reasonable if not for the hassles and all the wondering whether the order was received, understood, shipped, or seized. Hell, I still don't know if my order was even understood, much less mailed. I asked for a refund about 48 hours ago and have yet to hear a response. If there isn't one soon i'll just take it up with PayPal instead. I sure hate to do that because the guy SEEMS nice enough, but this is 2 for 2 for me with this place. A year ago I thought it might be because the place was just getting established. A year has passed and IME nothing has improved from my perspective...

And the cap'n keeps getting weirder - just received the following (about an order that is more than a month "overdue"):
Quote: "Hi!
I apologies again. It was two-weeks nightmare.
We got new connection and things will get back to normal. I have changed the windows too as Microsoft 2000 is having too many problems and the systems breakdowns are very often. I wish and hope to gain back your trust and confidence.
From today on wards I will be on line 24 hours a day I have tons of backlog due to two weeks of various communication and management problems.
Please bear with me. I am on line and reply ASAP.
Take care and trust me things will get back to normal."
I want to believe this guy, but I really have to recommend to anyone thinking about ordering - AVOID (my opinion)

Thanks for the update calgal. Now i'm awaiting my next response from the esteemed Cap'n. I asked him for a refund but have yet to file with PayPal. I agree with you, I too want to believe this guy, but after 2 orders in 2 years and both having the same insane problems (what, the only computers that don't crash for weeks at a time are in the USA? IIRC a year ago the computer was "having too many problems and the systems breakdowns are very often" too) I, too, cannot recommend this place. Avoid.

Update: FWIW, I have been in contact with the Cap'n (why do I always think Cap'n Crunch? ) and i've been told that my problem has been straightened out. I'll be the first to admit it if i'm wrong so i'll certainly post when the meds arrive. They are supposed to be in the post at this moment so the countdown has begun. Sebastian seems like a nice enough guy, now if they can just get the problems worked out (and eliminated) things might be very nice for a little while!

Received an E-Mail from the Capt. about 10 days ago and said my order was sent the 26th and should be here in or around 10 days, now I get an E-Mail yesterday and he says your order was just sent on 10/6 and I should have in 10 days, man O' man, maybe I get two for the price of one, will see and if so I'll send him some $ for the extra order, I just hope he isn't pulling my chain again.

Placed order Aug. 8 was told I would receive double order. I received half order in 2 packages.
My days of using "Avoid" are over. Too stressful.
