It would be very interesting if once a year this forum could have a convention. Other groups do star trek for one. it could be in on central location. OPs could have booths just like trade shows

then we could all lean on each other and learn and have one single voice!!

just thought any others for this

for me i would travel to go to one

That would be kinda cool...or maybe regional ones because we're from all over the country.

Yeah, make it in Vegas or somewhere really nice. I wish!! Well we could organisze one and perhaps start up a scholarship fund to help those who can't afford to attend. That would be fun and we could find some guest speakers and pain specialists who might come in and tell us about the latest developments on treating CP. Actually, a drug company puts on things like this for doctors all the time. Why couldn't they do it for us- we are a population that takes many meds and spends millions of out dollars on thier products. Its like advertising, I think we should ask a drug company to sponsor something like this. Only you have to be a legitimate pain patient to get in or something. That would be great. I have always wanted to organize something like that. I think the only problem would be funding, so many would probably love to go. Maybe we could ask the OP's to help sponsor it?

That sounds great, however, I think we would have the FEDs as the unknown guests of honor. I seriously doubt that the owners of the OPs would like to put themselves out in the open like that, not that the Gov't doesn't already know who they are but still.
It sounds like a good idea for us chronic pain sufferers though. We should be able to form a lobbying group as powerful if not more powerful than the pharmecutical companies. This country is run by big business and its time we start adoting some of their tactics. There is strength in our numbers and the amount of money we represent. I hate to say it but our biggest weapons are our wallets. So if we open our wallets then we should be able to open the hearts of Washington. (Sorry for the rant)
