on another post something was said about your PCP, so I hope that someone can answer my question, when I think of my PCP, I think of my family doctor that I go to for the flu or strep throat. This doctor IS my PCP. (hence the word primary, as in the main one) I do not go to my PCP for my spinal injury(I went to the ER and was refered to another doctor) For that matter my PCP knows nothing about my spinal injury, as I have not seen him since the flu of 2001. So, my biggest concern is, am I lying when on OP questionaires, when I list my actually PCP, instead of the doctor that I see for my spinal injury??

I don't think you are lying if you list a doctor you actually have a patient/doctor relationship with. Anyway I think it's pretty rare for an OP to actually contact the doctor you list as your PCP, but you never know.
My actual PCP, as far as my former insurance company was concerned, was a doctor I never even saw. His office issued referrals to the eye doctor and other specialists, but I never even had a physical from the guy.
I've got the same situation as potatoboy. Never had a physical from anyone at his office, but have gotten plenty of referrals. When I need to get something routine taken care of (cough, cold, etc.) I go to Urgent Care.
I think the OP's just want the PCP info so they can seem like they're one more specialist treating you. Like the PCP is the one who is really taking care of you, and they are just one more health care provider for you.
