Giving them a "tip" so they don't steal your stuff would be idiotic, I hope people don't do this.
The way you worded this made me laugh cause I think of some of the silly movies I have seen where the housewife with WAY too much time on her hands is anxiously awaiting the cable guy or the plumber. When he gets there she is dressed in her sexiest sleeping gown, high heels and all. then grabs him by the shirt collar and as she yanks him into the house is asking him if he would like a nice cold refreshing drink and the guy is super nervous, and thinking this is his lucky day!! Oh well, just had to write what I had pictured in my mind of "throwing the driver a bone", or a body!!

Sounds like a Fedex employee has an addiction problem.

I too find this really sad. I have a great FedEx driver who goes out of his way to assure i get my packages. He is a very hard working, honest man who covers the same route that it takes 3 UPS drivers to cover. I have my meds delivered to my business so I always offer him a cold drink on our nasty, hot summer days. He has gone out of his to deliver packages to me and it really makes me mad that there are those out there who give guys like him a bad rap.

Since a few of you seem to be fimilair with the people who have had trouble....Do you think you might have some time in the future to try to make sense out of all this.
For example.
What pharmacy?
What shipping hub (near the pharmacy)?
What arriving hub (near their homes)?
Overnight or 2nd day air?
Maybe we can narrow this down????
This sucks!

Brutus...your readin' way too much into the "throw'em a bone" statement.I merely meant to be friendly and take care of our driver's......As they so often take care of us.
Yada-Yada they get paid and all that....I know.....But like was said....it doesn't have to be money all the time.
As for your friend who is being victimized at the moment.....sounds like it's an isolated problem in a particular facility.Unfortunate and probably very temporary,as this "person" will be caught and dismissed(if not prosecuted)very, very soon.
They can't get away with this kind of thing for long.
Good Luck to your friend....
EZ....
p.s.To ChevyGal: I like your type of readin' into things much better ....LOL

I don't know if it's nationwide or anything but locally here, where I live, FedEx doesn't employ full-time people. Reason? To avoid medical coverage and benefits for their employees.. Sound familiar?? Maybe that gives them reason to steal your meds. American companies just don't care about their employees anymore. That's what we've mutated to.

I recieved a package from FEDEX yesterday from EPHY. they put my bottle in one of those Fedex tamper resistant paper envelopes and put that inside a bubble wrap fedex pak. If someones going to tamper with it it would take going through 2 fedex envelopes to do it. They're doing all they can to thwart this sitiation at the pharmacy. Thanks Tampa Bay!!! Mine were all in tact... Later KO

Glad you got youre Meds and Tampa did as much as possible to protect your script...thats good service.
I believe all the situations that had wrong meds were in "tamper proof" envolopes.
What I think is happening is they tear it open then put it in a new one so it doesn't looked tampered with.
I like that tamper proof tape idea mentioned earlier. I think it will help alittle if the tape is not easy for them to get.

I have never actually had my order "replaced" with a phony
but I have had my packages "tampered" with. The new plastic
FEDEX overnite envelopes. I have had two that were torn open enough to see into the package. Not something I believe happened during transport. Especially after the driver commented that must be "medication",I bet you NEED that.I was shocked. It's none of their business.

I can't believe they said that to you. Wonder what they say to each other when they are just talking at work about this kid of stuff. "" If you see a package from XXX pharmacy it probably has Hydro or Xanax in it Dude !"
Thats scary if the word gets around the FEDEX Hubs

What pharmacy is packaging yours that way. I might ask to have it packaged this way if it helps.
