      #103740 - 09/29/03 01:12 PM

Just received this e-mail from TropicalRx:

"Dear Customer:

Recently our pharmacies refill regulations have changed in regards to pain relief medications. The refill waiting period in regards to pain medication(s) has been extended to 90 days from the date the last order was shipped. We apologize for any inconvenience, please keep in mind these are pharmacy regulations and customer service will not be permitted to make exceptions. If you have any further questions please feel free to call or e-mail your concerns."

Ah well. The search continues...

And yet their website continues to state: "By law, we are allowed to process refills every twenty-five days." Sounds like you're making it up.

well, you are both right, the web page sates both of these facts, 1) The 90 days thing is right next to all the pain meds in the price list. 2) the 25 day thing is in the FAQ section, so I imagine that the 90 thing only applies to PAIN MEDS. BlazinDego

Yes..... for all of you whom are wondering....

Tropicalrx has this "New Policy" and I don't know if it's a new law they have to follow, or if they for some reason think that this will make them more money, and if they think that.... they must be retards!!!

They instated this new policy sometime in September, without warning to any of their customers!!!! Even if your script bottle of #90 says "take 3 per day as needed" you must still wait the 45 days to refill, if you have #60 you must wait 30 days, and if you have #30 you must wait 15 days!!!!

This is stupid on their part..... I sent them an email, here it is....

SUBJECT: Very Dissapointed!!!!!
Hello Tropicalrx --

I just had to let you know.... I had been ordering from your company, and without any warning, you changed your policy, leaving me and many customers in a limbo.

Well I have to give you a heads up -- I belong to MANY discussion boards, and right now Tropicalrx is getting one of the worst reviews on the boards right now because of this "new policy"!!!!!

You have got to understand that there are dozens of other sites like yours that does not have this "new policy" and you are now going to lose your customers to these other sites.

I'm sure that this email is not the first of it's kind to come to your mail box, but I just figured that the more that you receive than maybe you might hear us!!!

Tropicalrx used to be the finest out there, your company had the respect of all the discussion boards out there, and it dropped overnight because of this "new policy" you have created.

I hope you re-consider this "new policy" and go back to the way you were. Otherwise it looks as though you will be losing all of your customers to other Online Pharmacies.

Thanks for listening =(

They should receive many many many many email like this one
Because it has left people out there without their pain meds, people who need them now have to go thru all of the research, reading, and test with trials to find an OP to fit their needs!!!!

Oh well..... their loss

My guess is that Tropicalrx is being phazed out and that there may be another website picking-up the buisness, maybe based out of another state or what not, I would recommend not using them and going with someplace else ie NWW, Fedexmeds, these place are both more legit and offer more for your money. You figure that Tropical offers 90 for 199, cost of consult and meds from NWW 220$ hmm... 20$ gives two extra refills at 110$ ish I think that would be the route to go. Thats my opinon.

Well.... Believe it or not!!!!!
I received an email response from Tropical....

Here's what it said....

Dear Customer:

Recently our pharmacies refill regulations have changed in regards to the following pain relief
medications, Hydrocodone, Vicodin and Norco. The refill waiting period in regards to the above pain
medications has been extended to 90 days from the date the last order was shipped . If you feel
that you will need more medication within the 90 day waiting period, you may contact your primary
care physician in regards to this matter as you will be unable to request further medication until
the 90 day waiting period has elapsed. We apologize for any inconvenience, please keep in mind
these are pharmacy regulations and customer service will not be permitted to make exceptions. After
the 90 day waiting period has passed you may wish to consider one of the other pain relief
medications we provide which may have a lesser waiting period. If you have any further questions
please feel free to call or e-mail your concerns.

Well, Duh!!!!!
I already knew that.... if that is the new regulations, then why is it that the other Online Pharms are not in the "New Policy"?

Unfortunately, other online pharmacies have adopted the same 90 day waiting period for hydro re-orders.

I posted some details here earlier today.

Basically, Medpharmrx and all of its sister companies and referring companies (I learned later today after posting that there are dozens of them), also are making you wait 90 days since Monday 9/29.

They're telling me all OPs that use Clinical solutions and their cast of merry doctors (including Lynch) adopted this policy.

There are few choices left for hydro every 25 days with no consult fee / records, etc. and the number keeps dwindling.
