Tylex

I would appreciate any helpful information about the drug Tylex. It is said to contain 30mg of codiene/500mg acetamephen. What would this be comparable to something containg hydro?
Thanks

A 30mg dose of codeine phospahte is only about equal to a 3mg dose of hydrocodone (unless you are one of the few who has a natural sensitivity or tolerence to codeine.) You would probably be better of taking a 50mg codeine, about 5mg hydrocodone - Or a 60mg dihydrocodeine which is equal to about 6-12mg of hydrocodone.

Take care and be safe.

Thanks for the quick reply do you know of an IOP that provides something comparable to a 10-12mg dose of hydro?

Pharma24.cc is the best source for dihydrocodeine. It is comparable to hydro. It is roughly twice as strong as codeine. Pharma24.cc is cheap even know they have just raised the price on it. It is listed under cough and cold and the brand is Contugesic. Hope this helps

Brian

Thanks Brian, but is this medicine used as a cold remedy or for pain? Cause I'm in pain brother!

Dan
