I've tried searching all over the place to try figure out what this is. It is supposed to be "mylan" brand xanax (alprazolam) I have 2 diffrent pills that are supposed to be 2mg alprazolam. 1st is yellow, it is flat and an if you cut it in half, it would be a square. It has 3 lines to cut it into pieces. One side has no markings, the other side has kind of like an "L" but not really an L, then 0, 3, and 9 on the sections. The other pill is white, same size and shape, with the same division lines, but it has the numbers "gg" on the first division, then 2, 4, then 9. and nothing on the other side. I went to the mylan web page, and their generic xanax looks nothing like what I have. I know this is long winded, but I just can't find out anything on this. I got these from st. pete's apothecary. If anyone can help me out here, I'd much appreciate it so I know what the heck I'm taking. It just scared me when my 2nd refill the pills looked diffrent.

Hi Doc! I'm really confused about those being Mylan brand because I was under the impression there 2mg product was Round shape and white divided in quarters. However on the rxlist search this is what it says.

thanks alot! At least I know they are 2mg. Just wierd the bottle says mylan. Hey, if you have any good pill id sites, IM me please if you would.

I'm pretty confused about this as well. The first time, I received the "white" bars (I call them)- the second time I received the yellow ones and the third time I received white bars but with different numbers than the first time....all three times the bottle said Mylan but I did conclude the yellow ones are Purepac - not sure about the white ones and I prefer the Purepac to the white ones.
