Is it just me or has anyone else seem to thing the Fed Ex guys are looking over the packages while you are signing? Even stuff I get from relatives or stores it seems to be getting a look over. Could be my imagination, but was wondering if anyone else was having the same feeling.

A close family member who works for fedex told me that some of the employees are well aware of what they are handling. Two yrs or so ago she told me one guy had his own biz one the side for a few weeks til he got caught(he was stealing everything he figured he could sell). He got the gavel of justice and thanx to him tighter security measures were put inplace(more cameras). If I remember I was later told he actually got jail time.Seems he liked the small packages that said Zales Jewelers.Have a Great Weekend

IT IS MY UNDERSTANDING THAT IF WE ARE ORDERING A "JUST FOR PERSONAL USE AMMOUNT" AND WE ARE ORDERING FROM A USA PHARAMACY, WE ARE NOT DOING ANYTHING ILLEGAL. IF SO, LET EM LOOK ALL THEY WANT! OR, AM I WRONG??? AS ALWAYS, ALL ADVICE APPRECIATED! ( I JUST SWITCHED TO WHAT I THOUGHT WERE ALL LEGAL ORDER PRATICES) ONLY IN USA???

Definantly, I feel a little weird with my Fed Ex guy. My mother lives in a smaller house on our property, so her packages are delivered to my front door. So, I get to sign for my meds, my husbands meds, and my mother's meds. I really wonder what Fed Ex thinks. He's very nice, but one time made a comment about all the meds being delivered. I said a lot of them were dietary supplements.

I've never felt weird with my Fedex guy. We have gotten to know him on a "stay and chit chat" basis, so he always stays a few moments and we really like him. I made mention long ago about being a "vitamin freak" and he also knew when my husband was in the hospital and that he is chronically ill, we've also had the conversation in passing about what a b**ch it is for me not having insurance. Put all those little tidbits together, and I never feel like he has the slightest bit of curiousity at all and NEVER have I gotten "the look". Our UPS guy, on the other hand, is the type person that every stop he makes in this town, he gleans all the local gossip, and is just one of those "types" that has a nosy nature. I am glad that my OP uses Fedex.

I have thought that I time or two. But then again I really don't care what they think. It is kind of funny cause the fedex guy is usually more worried about my dog getting out and is always in a big big hurry. Like he practically throws the package at me, says "here sign this" and jogs to his truck We live out in the "woods" and we don't get the same guy all the time, I don't know if they have to draw straws to see who gets to drive all the way out to where I live or not. But the same guy has not come more than three times. >>shrug

What bussiness is it of his anyways? I can't belive he made a comment about "all the meds" you get. I wouldn't of gave him any, answer, excuse, just told him mind his own and see ya. gezzzz

Very common and somewhat comical (or not) that the delivery folks, i.e., fedex, ups and especially the US postal service know more about us than any others . . . more so w/US postal as they recognize bills, late notices, bday cards, gifts, letters, magazines (personal likes), etc, etc. I have had local postal worker comment while I was attending school "so how are your grades?"

while i was using overseas pharms my postal service guy began questioning the contents of my packages outright.
"so whats in this?" he asked a few times.
i got a lot of overseas mail to my place because i had roomates from asia. but my overseas pharms packages looked similar.
needless to say i was served one of those seizure notices soon after he began asking what was in the packages.
i switched to domestic ops that require medical records, and that use UPS. my ups guy is really nice, he's never said anything.

I just realized the other day how many millions of packages this has added to their work load....I'm sure they know all sorts of return address by heart!

I have never had even a hint of nosiness or even curiosity from either my regular Fedex driver or my UPS guy. I guess I have it easy, even my postal clerks seem totally unconcerned about the packages I receive from all over the place. (The Postmaster knows I have a chronic e-bay habit. For about a year I was getting more packages than anybody else in town, except for a lady with a QVC dependency).

I know all my drivers on a first name basis and I work for big brown. My Fed Ex driver and I are friends also and we talk about the delivery business more than anything. My advice is to make a friend and quit worrying. We don't care what's in the package, it's more work for us which means more good jobs!!!!!! Just my take on this subject!!
Take care KO
