Hydrocodone makes me itchy...why?

Does anyone know why this drug makes me itch all over when I take it? I know a lot of other people that have the same reaction.

It is caused by histamine release which causes some people's skin to get irritated and become itchy while other's get skin flushes: both are harmless and can be alleviated with anti-histamine medication.

BTW, this really isn't the board to be posting this kind of question to (not tryin to be mean, just warning you that the moderaters will probably be moving this post shortly)
