Hi that is so strange I was about to ask the very same question. I was looking it up and saw that in Mexico it is sold and is the equivelent to an asprin. I am unsure if their are other types. Hopefully, someone more knowledgable will answer. I saw that M.eronline offers it but I don't need a med with the equivelent of an asprin I have plenty of asprin!

Neo-Percodan has nothing to do with Percodan. It is actually a combination of dextropropoxyphene and paracetamol. Which is another term for weak darvon and tylenol. When I lived in Mexico, it was sold over-the-counter in all the farmacias. I think it was sold at $8 for a pack of 10. If you mention Percodan or Percocet while in Mexico, that's what they will try to sell you. I personally would not bother with it. In my opinion, straight darvons would be a better deal in comparison. I hope this helps.

"Pain is inevitable...suffering is optional."
I picked up some Neo-Percodan in Juarez last year. It was manufactured in France by Novartis. The Pharmacist at the Farmacia did'nt have it inside the store. He sent his asst. outside to get it out of the trunk of a car. It came in foil push-packs. The wrapper said 65mg. Propoxyphene HCL
I was in withdrawl and it worked real well for me. I took 3 and that kept me pain-free for about 5-6 hours. Later, (After being pulled over and searched by Texas Highway Patrol) we checked into a Hotel. I took a couple more.
It gave me mutiple head-rushes, euphoria, and I was wired all night. Never slept. After I got back to K.C., I gave a few to a friend, who is a very good judge of pain meds. He said they were the best Darvocet he had ever taken. If you go to Mexico, get a script. Don't drive through Texas. They don't recognize Mexican prescriptions as being legal or valid. I have picked them up two more times down there. They were not being sold over the counter. My friend swears by them and wants to go with me next time so as to stock up on Neo-Percodan. I found them to be VERY strong as well.
