Are you sure there are no Letters or other Numbers on it?? I found 2 matches at RxList: The one that says just white round pill with '512' is Cipro (an anti-biotic) - However, there is another pill with '512' on it, but it also has letters on the other side, and it IS infact Oxycodone - here are the descriptions of both:
So - if it also has lettering on one side, besides the '512' - it is probably APAP/Oxy - But all the APAP/OXY combo's had 512+some combination of letters. The only one listed as simply '512' with no letters is Cipro.

These are definately generic Percocet 5/325 (5mg oxycodone / 325 mg tylenol) from Mallinckrodt Inc Pharmaceuticals Group. It's the first pill shown in this link of some oxy products:
I have always had good luck calling Poison Control when I find a pill and I don't know what it is.
I have called them and just given a desciption exactly like you have in this forum-they are always non-judgmental and not nosy at all. Very courteous as a matter fo fact!
