I recently had an unwelcomed bad experienced with a new doctor who questioned why I came to her. When they judge us and act this way do they call our regular doctors with whom I was honest about or tho they report us unfairly to somone. Just wondering... I am a nervous guy.

Hey
Do you mean you had a bad experience with an in person doctor or an online doctor? Can you elaborare a bit, as I am not sure what ya mean. Did you give this new doctor your other doctors name and stuff? And by being honest with your old doctor, how? Don't know if I can answer, but with a bit more info I am sure someone can help ya out.

I don't think doctors call the cops, what are you talking about? Pharmacists call the cops all the time on suspicion of forged scripts. All a doc needs to do is say "No". Isn't there some sort of confidentiality rule now, concerning sharing of patients information without consent?

Its a joke. Of course they would not call the cops. Asking for controlled meds is not a crime.

I am sorry I was so confusing about not describing myself enough. The doctor was NOT an online doctor but a primary care regular doctor ... not a walk in . I didn't ask her for any controlled substances but she and her nurse did not welcome me by their probing questions. Why are you here and not at your reg doc. Can they do me any harm guys? You all are so nice and helpful.... thanks

By the way my complaint was lower back pain of which I have had surgery for years ago and do experience flare ups and real pain. They just seem to try to label me as a drug seeker or doc shopper which is unfair and not true. I am disappointed in the medical profession sometimes.

Let me guess, you went to a Doc in the Box or HMO Urgent Care clinic and they treated you like cr*p because they didn't consider your condition urgent and felt you should have waited 3-4 weeks to get an appointment with your PCP rather than interfering with their coffee clatch. The typical online doc is a genius compared to these brain-dead morons (oh oh, I used that term again, will I be banned again - I didn't reference anyone on DB or the mods!!!!) I doubt they can do any more harm (you didn't get proper treatment or meds) and I'd write a very factual succinct letter to the head of the Urgent Care facility detailing your treatment. All "professionals" must learn that their jobs can now be transfered to China or India. If you want to be a brain-dead bureaucrat, you will soon be an unemployed one, because India has them by the millions and they only have to pay minimum wage, if that.

Fox ~ what part of the country you in? a major metro area, burbs, sticks? just curious cuz i had similar experiences like that when i lived in northeastern Pennsylvania. some of the docs in the smaller town secs may play golf together occassionally & trade tips, but i'm pretty sure that because of confidentiality laws you should have no worries. word gets round more in the smaller the town is what i'm trying to say ~ then no one would write you scrips now i live smack dab in the middle of los angeles & no physician is going to waste anymore of their time on you besides telling you to "get out" of their office! i have heard rumor of different variations of a physycians "BLACKLIST", but as far as i can tell thats just urban legend.
hope the info helps don't sweat anything!!! s'OK... REALLY!
