As I am sorta new at this, (my accident happening late last year), I hope my questions aren't too silly! This forum board and members have been of great help to me. My question is that I placed an order with a place which doesn't make you jump hoops with records, etc. My script was for 60 and no refills. I'd like to ask for another script as I still am in need. Do others on the board do this frequently and if so, how does it go for you? I hear a lot of people who have refill scripts but never noticed about people asking for the same script again. Would appreciate any feedback. Also, do scripts for any controlled meds go into some sort of Fed. data base? I've been wondering about that also. Again, thanks for any feedback or answers!

I'm confused- 2nd script? You mean enough time has elapsed should your script HAVE had a refill but since there isn't, you want to order another Rx? If so, pay the consult fee and go through that route again and no doubt you'll get another Rx. I'm well overdue for my refill- I wouldn't go through a place that wouldn't do refills on account of the price of the initial consult- it's spendy! Plus, your best bet and cheapest way to go is via those op's that do require records- much more reputable.

In fact people do post about re-ordering instead of refilling all the time! Check out the threads on the various OP's that have minimal records requirements (like tropical, unityrx, Uspharmacy etc), they are usually the ones that do not offer refills. You should have no problem re-ordering from the same OP as long as you wait about 25-28 days from your last order, none of them is likely to let you re-order sooner than that.
As for there being a Federal database tracking scripts for schedules medications, I don't think so. Some states apparantly have or are building tracking systems to monitor prescriptions and discourage doctor shopping and double dipping, but not on the Federal level as far as I know.
There's nothing wrong with asking questions, but these are both frequently discussed topics on DB, and you will find many answers and a pile of opinions by doing some more reading in the threads!
