LEGITDRUGS -what action is best to take
      #102345 - 09/23/03 09:45 PM

I'm hoping those of you with more experience and knowledge in dealing with OP's can tell me what would be the best plan of action to take regarding being overcharged by an OP who will not respond to numerous emails regarding the problem. I placed a refill order using a link from a courtesy reminder email page that legitdrugs sent to me
indicating that all refills were 20% off and shipping was free, but after I had submitted my payment information it showed a different price for the meds and a charge for the shipping. As you can guess, I immmediately sent them an email via their contact page. I subsequently sent numerous
emails since that time but have yet to get a response to any of them. Some of the emails indicated that I would be sending copies of all the emails (about 6-7) to my credit card company and authorizing a charge back if I did not receive any kind of response/resolution regarding the issue( which I explained to them in detail). I even mentioned being a member of DrugBuyers.com and gave them an eyefull regarding customer service- obviously I wasted more time!! In the beginning, I also phoned them regarding the problem but was told they couldn't help me at the time because they were having server problems and that someone would get in touch with me when the problem was corrected and my info. could be accessed. After waiting almost a week I phoned them again but was told someone would have to call me back- and you guessed it I'm still waiting and it's been over 3 weeks. This has been going on now for nearly a month and now my credit card bill is due which brings me to the question for you guys- sorry the explanation was so lengthy-
?What would be the best thing for me to do not to get screwed out of MY money. Should I just contact my cc company and fill out ther form explaining the problem, etc. or what. I need to pay my bill within the next 2 days and can't afford to pay for more than what I actually owe-which already is stretching things. I would appreciate any response ASAP from anyone with experience in this predicament. You can PM me if you would like

Keep in mind that you do not have the pay the amount in dispute. If you have proff that your bill should have been an amount different from your actual bill, then you have a case for a partial chargeback. Figure what the diference is and file a dispute just for that amount, that is if you recieved the meds you ordered.

From what you have written, you should be entitled to the difference credited back to your card. I have gotten every chargeback I have ever filed because I was in the right and had proof to back it up.

Good Luck,

MrB
