does anyone know what roxicodone is? and what it is equivilant to in other pain meds.thanks

actually it is 5mg pure oxycodone, no apap. Very smalle round white pills.

Yep it does come in 5mg also- -but it also comes in 15mg and 30mg. But you're right it's just instant release oxy no APAP or Aspirin. I was just correcting the previous poster about it being 'generic oxycontin' because 1) there is no generic oxycontin and 2) roxicodone is not timed-released like oxycontin is

I agree with zeuzjuz.I took roxicodone for well over a yr.One of the best pain meds I've ever been prescribed.My Pain Dr is the only place I know of where its available.The liquid is real effective as a breakthru med.

Zeus gets to take home the prize as he's correct. It's available in 15 mg tabs though I do believe as well. Either that or 10s. I'm not sure which. It's been awhile since I've had any.

Yes, it does indeed come in 5mg (Oxycodone Hydrochloride Immediate Release) - a small round tablet and for me the best relief I've ever had.

It does come in 5 they are small white pills with M in a square on one side and a 5 on the other side one of the best pills out there.

I suppose this is a US med, correct??? I have never heard of it but i can see why it would be of benefit without the APAP in it for cancer patients etc. Too bad it will probably be something i will never know about seeing as how i do not know ANY compassionate pain doctors.

Hey Paidfo, by "My Pain Dr" do you mean your "off-line" regular doctor? or are you refering to a website which I haven't heard about? I assume the former must be the case -- as the availability of "roxy" on-line is (so far as I know) non-existent...

They stopped making the 30's awhile ago.
30 mg's of oxy would make most hydro users nod off.
They said it was too powerful for instant release.
