Registered Mail Slip from "N/A"
      #100347 - 09/15/03 03:08 PM

I have received a LOT of IOP shipments via registered mail, and in the "from" section, it always says the name of the country of origin. This one says "N/A". So. . . . am I going to the PO to pick up a registered seizure notice tomorrow? I wonder. . .

Maybe there's no return address, or it's illegible? Actually that sounds ulikely with registered mail, but who knows. It's a rare postmark that I can actually read the date or zipcode on.

Welcome back toe, you "disappeared" for a couple of weeks. Missed your posts! Hope you were on vacation............

Toe,

Ditto to what potatoboy said.
Sometimes "N/A" means there is no return address listed.
No Country of origin listed,no return address.
Hope this helps.

I usually know what orders I have out there that require signature and which don't. The ones that do come to my "day address." The ones that don't go to my house. Do you remember who you ordered from that does require a signature? Keep us posted.

Thanks, guys. This IOP happens to use an address label. . . I have two orders expected, but only one of them sends registered packages. And they use a an address label for recipient and return addressees.

The labels have never fallen off before and you'd think that with the very *expensive* registered mail service, it would be easy enough to determine the country of origin, not that I would expect a postal officer to go through all that trouble. I've just never received a single pink slip without the Country of origin.

The other company sends via regular airmail and the package is usually just left oon the doorstep, so I don't know.

All that we ordered was a pack of contugesic, a bottle of liquid DHC, and a pack of zopiclone. , so I'm not too worried about trouble, cross my toes and knock on wood. The package was delayed in delivery (if recent experience of the speed is still true). . .

I had expected actually to have the pink slip waiting in the mailbox when Mrs. Toe and I returned from our marriage and honeymoon in Toronto. (to answer your questiom, potatoboy)

The thing that would really suck would be losing this IOP, or having to "settle down' for a little bit to let the dust around my name clear. Even worse, the package was primarily for my partner because DHC is the only thing that really works for her. And *I* was anxious to try out the liquid DHC. Thing is, she put it on her credit card so she will be out the money, unless I can pull some strings with the IOP to which I've given so much business and get them to reship. Strictly speaking, they don't.

I will know soon enough, though.

Got it. The company's printed label was still on it but it was a big lumpy misshapened package (just had to order the liquid DHC). My zip code was a little off, which apparently through the post office out of wack, so maybe the person who writes these slips was frustrated or just too lazy or didn't see it.

At any rate, we got our package.

Thanks everyone.
