Are you experiencing any pain with these bouts? Does your stomach cramp before you see the blood? Are there any other symptoms besides the blood?

Legit!! They told you to eat a bowl of Fiber One a day? That would be enough to put me right back in the hospital. I have both IBS-C and D. It varies with me. It's nutz.
There's a great book by Heather Van Vourous called "Eating for IBS"...it's awesome. She has a couple others too...this one's just a good start.
Also, the new Zelnorm medication may help you better than the Fiber one.
I am a veteran of all this stuff, so let me know if you need any help or suggestions. Glad they found nothing else, but the IBS can really s*Best if kept off the board.

No real cramping with the blood. Now its more constant pain and a feeling of consitpation. I took too many laxitives trying to get some relief but no dice. All that I did was uset my stomach for a few days and have to stay on a clear liquid diet.

I haven't had any significant blood for a week but it was after the last major bleeding episode that everything went really haywire. Is there a sepcific idea behind your question? I am open to any suggestions or idea's right about now.

Thank you all for the kind words and well wishes too. They all help and mean allot.
