I have a bunch of diazepam and xanax. Just wondering if it will help me?

I'm no Dr. nor Pharmacist by any means so please check into your question more. I think their are some great posts on the subject of Benzo detoxing, but I don't think I ever remember seeing one on Klonopin Detox. First off, Stay with it and good luck. How much are you taking and for how long? Even though I have before, it is deffinately not suggested to go cold turkey. Find the best tappering program for your daily intake/total usage time.
From what I know, you absolutely do not want to switch/substitute Xanax in trying to kick Klonopin(Clonazepam). Once again I am not a Dr., but as far as I know Xanax(alprazolam) has one of the shortest half lifes of all Benzodiazapines. I have a few friends who successfuly weened themselves off of Xanax using Klonopin. I believe that most weening systems using substitutes use Klonopin or Chlordiazepoxide(Librium) because of their longer half-lifes. The drugs exit your body at a slower rate so that your body is more able to adjust at an easier pace.
As far as using Valuim, I personaly would say no way also. I have read differently(though not much), but I think the way for you is going to be a slow weening or possibly a slow weening in combo with Librium.
As for personal experience with detoxing from benzos, I only take Xanax and occasionaly Valium so those are the only benzos that I've detoxed from. As I have been taking Alprazolam for a few years now, and being aware of the addiction potential, I usually will detox myself for about 2 weeks every 3 months or so. And everytime I have detoxed less twice I've gone cold turkey(yes, many will call me an idiot for taking that risk, but it's just how I like to do it) Once I used Klonopin and it made the transition easy for me since it did take a bit of the edge away, yet didn't sedate me the very least. The other time, I was in a coutry where Flunitrazapam(Rohipnals which are not marketed in the US) are legal and that also worked, yet it basicaly just helped me through the first 2 to 3 sleepless nigthts.
Boy, I just realized how far away from your original question I strayed. Sorry
Ultimately the safest way to do it is in conjuncture with your Primary Care Provider. If for whatever reason that's not possible and you are having a hard time, don't hesitate to PM me and I will help you with research.
Benzo's: I love 'em as they do exactly what they are prescribed to do, but they can get you if your not careful.
Good Luck

You need to stay with the klonopin and taper. Xanax will make matters worse since you will have rebound anxiety to deal with and valium is much weaker, so you would have to take a lot of it to avoid wds. In other words neither will make the wds any better.

I HAVE USED XANAX TO TAPER FROM KLONOPIN AND VICE VERSA. I GET 90 0.5 KLONOPIN PER MONTH BUT HAVE FOUND THAT AT THAT DOSE I NEED TO ORDER MORE KLONOPIN AND/OR XANAX TO GET ME THRU THE REALLY BAD TIMES. HENCE, I MAKE Best if kept off the board SURE I HAVE ENOUGH XANAX ON HAND TO HOLD ME IF I HAVE USED ALL MY KLONOPIN UP FOR THAT MONTH , OR VICE VERSA. XANAX WILL DO THE JOB FOR YOU, BUT THERE IS MORE DANGER IN BUILDING UP A XANAC TOLERENCE AS XANAX PRODUES A VERY FAST AND SHORT ACTING HIGH SO THE TEMPTATION TO USE MORE XANAX CAN BE VERY INTENSE. BEEN DOING THIS FOR 15 YEARS SO I KNOW WHAT WORKS FOR "ME" IF YOU HAVE ENOUGH KLONOPIN, BY ALL MEANS TAPER OFF USING JUST KLONOPIN. I CUT 0.25 ML OF KLONOPIN EVERY 4 DAYS TILL I AM AT A WORKABLE LEVEL.....KEEP AN EYE ON XANAX, AS HE IS ONE SNEAKY. MIND GAME PLAYING DRUG!!! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

I use Ativan as well (1mg PRN, or "as needed") and that helps with a Klonopin taper...that's just me, though.
