I am searching for a US OP that sends a recipt with the cost of meds.
My insurance allows purchases from online pharmacies but I can only get reimbursed if the invoice has the dollar amount on it. (Perhaps you are familiar with "Clinical Solution of South Florida" recipts? They include the price/doc/drug/Rx number etc..)
All I want is unscheduled meds like Celebrex. If anybody has used an OP lately and remembers what their recipt contained, please post or PM me.
Thanks!

I had a consultation with NWW yesterday, and I was promptly sent an email receipt that included date, type and price of medication, shipping charges, and method of payment. Did not have the doctors name, though. Hope this helps.

YOD does. Actually the pharmacy does. It is included with order.

LumbarSpasm is right. Woody's (YOD's pharmacy) supplies a prescription receipt (sometimes in duplicate) that shows all the pertinent info needed for insurance reimbursement plus a credit card machine receipt. My insurance prescription administrator has always accepted Woody's script reciept. I don't know of any reciepts for consults and I wouldn't even try to submit one if I had it.

How do you find out if your insurance plan provides this kind of coverage? I have good coverage through a private company...could you tell me who you would need to call for this? Thanks

Basically, file an out of network pharmacy claim (a stack of paper work) and see if they pay it. Your Rx plans website or cust. service number will have this form.
I really wouldn't try it for anything controlled so you don't get people in trouble. I have been reimbursed for Viagra. Clinical Solutions provided that recipt and it had all the pertinent info. I went thru. us-meds.com but now they have about 10 pharmacies that they use.
Thanks for the above info. I really don't want a consult, though for the meds. I need-unscheduled. I want to click and buy.
I have used YOD, and yeah they are great but now I am off of the "hooch" and sticking with baby meds like celebrex and flexeril. PKW will do, I think.

When I used MidlandMC (which uses Bi-Wise) a detailed receipt was enclosed, so there's another possibility for you.

Just a reply to my own post but, CheapPillsOnline.com uses "Clinical Solution" as their pharmacy.
This means you get a recipt with total amount billed, Dr.'s name, Rx number...etc. Everything that the insurance company needs to reimburse.
They have good prices on Soma, Ambien, Fioricet and some other good meds IF you need them next day. In my past experience, Clinical dishes out fresh meds-as their turnover is WAY high!
