It is very strong medication in a nasal spray form that is used to treat migraines. It works very fast, usually under 15 minutes. It has few side effects, however it can make you very tired, you may not be able to drive, and you may feel a little out of it until you get used to. These all go away after the first couple of times you use it. I have used it for 15 years now. It is the only med that really helps with the bad migraines. I take hydro for the little ones and the after effects of a migraine, but Butorphanol or Stadol (brand name) is the best! Hospitals and ER's also use it for other kinds of pain.
