I was just hoping that someone out there might have some info on this medication. It is the half of the Phen-Fen combination.

Since having back surgery last year and continual pain afterwards, I gained about 40 dang pounds. I would do just about anything at this point to get rid of it, and even though I know the Phen Fen risks, I am willing to take that chance.

I would even be willing to give up taking all of my prescribed oxycodone and oxycontins if there was a chance I could find this medication. Sounds ridiculous I am sure, but I am becoming quite desperate. I guess I could just live w/the back pain and no pain meds for awhile, if I had to. At this point my life and well being are more dependant on losing this weight rather that living w/out the pain. Especially since my back seems to hurt more and more with the weight gain.

Does ANYONE know if and where someone might be able to purchase either fenfluramine or dexfenfluramine? From what I remember, I think that they were still being prescribed for weight loss in Europe. I would pay whatever it would take to get that diet pill. Seriously. I am starting to give up hope elsewhere.
