Re: REASSURANCE FROM NWW PATTY:

The bottom line seems to be that Patty has indeed put NWW customers in a very bad place - also she had put herself in a position to be terminated. To know that a CSR from any place I have done business with even *thought* about discussing a personal issue with others makes me ill.
Anyone, even those who have had a good experience with NWW should be VERY concerned that information that should NEVER EVER under ANY circunstance be shared - seems to have been.

Anyone who ever used NWW or was on the forum knows that even the slightest cough from a customer brought NWW's wrath down upon them.

Beware friends - even those who love NWW, I think all of this shows that at least one NWW representative has been caught with her hand in the proverbial cookie jar. This situation is cause for great alarm, simply consider all that NWW knows about you...everything from drivers license #, credit card #, address (often times home and business),your physicians name - these are things people in your own family whom you do trust implicity, may not know... Just think of what an angry CSR could do with this information, if they were so inclined. At this point I am grateful that all of my info has changed - I moved, changed banks and thus my credit/debit card #, also have a new DL# since my new state doesn't use SS# anymore as a DL#. And, I don't even have the same Dr. - whew, thank GOODNESS on all counts! Let me catch even a whiff of a scent that someone has misued my information - and it'll be lawsuit on the way.

No telling what info has actually been passed around and who knows what about whom. It always concerned me that the best of the cheerleaders were soon promoted to mods. A moderator should not have much more control other than to delete a post or move it. Afterall, what does this company really know about these people? Did they do thorough background checks on them before they gave them such an important position? It is my understanding that moderators are not paid, however, for a power hungry person with pain issues, that looks like a bad equation to me.

For example - do you see the DB mods hanging out here and posting regularly like they are your buddies? Nope. That's good business, the DB mods are here when need be, answer direct situations and deal with us profesionally. There needs to be a separation from the business and the consumer. Why the need for mods and conusmers to be all buddy buddy? You take a mod that has been a customer and a frequent poster and then place that person in a position of authority - most can't handle that at all.

We may be seeing a *first time* event in the making friends - an OP who finally stepped over the line and has been caught at it. I so hope this isn't the case, but if it walks like a duck...

Concerned -
Irie
