Re: REASSURANCE FROM NWW PATTY:

I can completely understand the reasons NWW would feel their customers could benefit from a message board. It seems to give people a sense of community & friendship much like we have here...a feeling of family. I do believe this is true for alot of their customers, because of the loyalty that they have for NWW.

I said this over on the VIP side too, but the NWW board started because Chris felt that handling all the CS issues on DB was not fair to DB. There were HUGE threads with people asking about their orders, whether their records were there, he would call FedEx 900 times a day for the customers, he worked with 2 laptops and 2 cell phones and it seemed as if he never slept.

It offers customers a chance to get to know the staff on a different, more personal level than other OPs, where all communication is done by phone or email. The staff is available to answer general questions regarding the company & procedures and also, those questions that are unique to each individual customer. IMHO, having a message board can be a very nice benefit for the customers & maybe make the company itself a little more efficient & fun for the employee.

So true. There's nothing wrong with having a board per se ; it's the way it is run. NWW's telephone lines were a nightmare - you waited on hold on your dime on a long-distance call for many minutes. Email was completely ignored. So the scheme was devised wherein you PMed a CS rep and then posted that you had PMed them. Kind of a roundabout method, but generally worked after an initial shakedown where hundreds of PMs would come in and completely overwhelm the staff.

That said, I also do believe your comments WERE misused for Pywackett's personal agenda. One that she/ he could not let go of needing to be right & wanting the people at NWW to be 'proud' of them. I'm not sure what they hoped to gain from all of that.

I know - He/She wants to be a moderator. And the best way over there to be a moderator is to tell everybody you love them and scream at anyone who even suggests that there might be room for improvement at NWW. My guess is that Pywackett (oh how original) is probably the next mod.

Speaking of mods, they have been doing some absolutely unprofessional things over there. I posted on the VIP side a screenshot of how they altered a member's profile to contain obscene and degrading comments.

NWW members can view one of them (if they have not covered it up) by viewing the Profile of user "unsatisfiedcust".

This type of behavior should be a shock to the management and should not be tolerated. I have sent the screenshots to management and the PDF of this thread also.
