A couple of things...a MVA may not show all the physical problems that you may have for MONTHS after the accident. You should keep accurate track of medical appointments, meds, and how you are feeling each, work missed due to pain, and pain levels. You can be reimbursed for all the days you missed if you were not at fault for this accident. I am like 16 years post accident, and I had to settle one year after the accident. They said I would have trouble "down the road". The road I am on now, is degenerative disc disease, osteoarthritis, dessicated disc, disc herniations, all because of a stinking car accident. Okay, may the DDD would of happened eventually but the discs affected are not usually impacted by disease but are by rear car accidents. Follow up, see doctors, get referrals, make the effort...do the best you can to get resolution. I wish they had the tests they have now...they said to me, "you're as good as you're going to get" and cut me loose. I wish you the best. take care... trixxie |
