I have been on chronic pain meds (hydro) for about 4 mths now. I dont like it. I would like to take a break but have tried this and like it less. Does anyone know if docs are generally ok with prescribing valium (I have only read this helps with withdrawl, and dont even know if that is true?) or is that just another problem in itself? any advise would be great. (oh yea, any ideas for staving off the pain during the off-hydro time?)
