Well, in my online phramacy situation, the doctor I did my consult with has his office in Wisconsin. The pharmacy he faxes my prescription to is located in North Carolina and I live in New Jersey. So if it's legal to fax a prescription to a state I don't even live in, it can get faxed to a pharmacy in your neighborhood. It's all a part of the deal, you gotta use THEIR service and THEIR pharmacy.
